I understand the NBA tournament doesn't add any games to the 82 game schedule, except for the two finalists.

If this is the case and the reward is more than money, such as a draft pick or a bye, it might be fun and exciting.

I like the draft pick idea. They won’t do it.

It's just like the Commisioner's Cup in the WNBA. I don't know many fans that knew wheat it was, or who won it, or even the players didn't talk about it. Really, you have a team win something, but not the season tournament, who cares?

I agree with Cuban. This is stupid and potentially can just get guys injured. I’d sit best players.
Sounds like the tournament doesn't add any games to the schedule (sans one for the final). That part I am OK with because they would have the same risk playing those games regardless of if it's the old regular season format and just "named" tournament games.

My bigger issue is why should the teams or fans care? I mean the goal is still the finals at the end of the season. Who cares about a mid-season tournament? I agree with the take above, you would have to have something worthwhile at stake. An extra draft pick would at least get some people interested. Fans are not going to care about throwing more money at the players or teams. I know I wouldn't if that is what was the only thing at stake.

Jeff Hornacek will be a consultant to Jazz head coach Will Hardy.

I want a 360 degree view.
Yeah, not sure. Those ab lines could be drawn on. Looks like his belly is protruding to me and there is a reason it is shot from straight on. It wouldn't be the first time he's drawn abs on his belly.
