Wow... the Cards are 0-5 all-time in Denver, and 1-9-1 overall! Ugh!

...dave

I was at the game the Redbirds won. My wife, being a lifelong Broncos fan wanted to go. The Broncos were a mess having fired Josh McDaniel like the night before the game, inexplicablely installing Kyle Orten at QB. 2010

Indeed! It took me over 20 years to get this far. Even if I had gone to every Cardinals road game since 1920, the Broncos cigar would still remain!

The cigars do get changed out, and I can always print new labels for when logos change. Nonetheless, as the number remaining dwindles, I will make extra effort to knock out those remaining, especially in the AFC which come once every 8 years.
Oh, that Broncos cigar is being lit next year, and I will be there in person. Let's me know if you do make it to that game. I would be happy to buy you a beer, even at crazy ass concession prices...

Should we hope for more or less home games while DHop is suspended? Or it doesn't matter?
We've played progressively worse at home each of the last three seasons, so we have no home-field advantage or any reasonable expectation that the team minus DHop would fare better at home rather than on the road.

2nd hardest schedule. oof.
It matters, sorta. Teams can flip year to year.

But since we play the AFC west and the NFC south, it'll be a bit rough. We struggle vs Saints and Panthers. But Saints are a new team. Not worried about Falcons. We need to find a way to go at least 3-1 and 2-2 vs west.

I say 3 or 4 wins for our division seems manageable. Then 2 of the final 3, preferably win vs nfc. That would probably be enough for wildcard.

As rough as the home schedule looks, the road looks as soft.
I don't see the road schedule as soft. I don't see Broncos, Raiders and Vikings as soft and I never assume any divisional team as soft on the road. That leaves Falcons and Panthers and we always seem to struggle with the Panthers.

Nice. Should be a good game.

I'd rather play them while Brown and all the new blood are still adjusting to the system.

It's the, Should the Cardinals have traded Murray for Hurts and picks? game.
I don't think that was a story anywhere but the fever swamps of this board.

Philly is a mediocre team. Have to be able to beat a mediocre team at home on opening weekend, even if you don't have your fancy wideout.

Eh, I think they’re a good team, but will be held back cause of a sub-par QB.

Anyone been to the Vegas stadium? We’ve got airline vouchers for a line that has direct flights there.
