That's why I was saying, whoever won between us and Denver was probably going to take it. Fair and square Denver beat us. We are a level below them right now. My silver lining is our whole team will be different when we next meet.

What Miami has done is so impressive. They have a legit shot to win it all.

Just for fun, look back earlier in this thread and see what was being said about them after they lost the first play-in game. And before they played the Bucks. And before they played the Knicks.

Boston should just leave Grant Williams in Boston. Last year he did the same thing in the finals and they lost. This year in the conference finals he decides to talk crap to Jimmy "Freaking" Butler and gets destroyed down the stretch. Mess around and find out Grant Williams. If you're going to talk you better be able to back it up.

I wonder if Spoesltra were our coach instead of Monty whether we'd win it all even with this year's squat. Why everybody on that Heats team seems so confident and they always create and exploit the proper spacings.

Grant Williams played well.

It’s not his fault Tatum has 0 field goals in the 4th in games 1/2 combined.

Jaylen Brown 3 points in the 4th yikes

It's hard to see the Celtics folding shop.

Caleb Martin was 11-16 for 25 points.

Oh he played well but I don't think it was coincidence after he made that 3 to put them up 9 and then started talking smack to Butler, that Butler took over.

But then who knows Jimmy was probably about to take over anyways, he's that guy.

I think Miami has the momentum to win it all. What a story that would be, play in to champions.

Anyone that thinks the Celtics wouldn’t have offered Jaylen Brown and more for KD after this disaster is just drinking haterade.

And that’s said as someone who is fully willing to admit our trade might end up a disaster. But there were definitely going to be big suitors for KD. Portland with the 3rd pick and Simons and a billion other picks probably would have gotten in the mix. The Grizz likely would have after their disastrous first round collapse.

That’s what I’m saying everyone knows Miami’s game plan. It’s iso Jimmy

What collapse by Boston in this game.

Last I saw, home teams that lost game 1 had won game 2 like 18 times in a row.
Probably dating back to 1994, when the Suns won both Game 1 and 2 in Houston and still figured out a way to lose the series.
