And that right there is exhibit A why I would get rid of charging all together if I was on the NBA rules committee. It's never called correctly, it takes away the most exciting place of the game, and most of all it's a dangerous.

People still slagging LeBron are drunk on Haterade. Dude’s not what he was but at 39, he’s still probably one of the top 10 players in the game.

That was an unbelievably tough shot over JJJ.

It’s impossible to get rid of it. Guys can legit just be standing and get hit, or for that matter could bull rush and knock dudes out of the way.

with no charge rule 300 pounders would be just running people over constantly

Are you kidding me, top 10 player when Austin reeves is out scoring him?

Even LeBron looks stunned at how good he still is.

22/20/7. Hits the almost impossible shot to tie it. Then gets the biggest offensive rebound of the game and finishes a 3 point play to basically end the game to take a 3-1 lead on a team you regard as garbage.

So, yeah. When LeBron is healthy he’s still a top 10 player. Maybe top 15, and anyone who thinks different and cites Austin Reeves scoring as the reason is just drowning in haterade.

I’ve never understood people who let their hatred actually override objectivity. I mean, I hate this Lakers team and LeBron but that doesn’t make me completely turn my brain off when I watch.

Memphis just ain't built for this, they aren't ready for it and don't take it as serious. The moment is too big for them.

I don't often watch the Grizz, but Morant must be better than he's showing here. All I see from him is out of control athleticism that hogs the ball on every possession.

Sometimes, when Morant goes all Allen Iverson it's exactly what the grizzlies need, but then there are times like tonight. Grizzlies actually play pretty well without Morant too if memory serves correct - double edge sword

They’re also missing their starting C and backup C who are both difference makers.

But they definitely have growing up to do.

For everyone who said no other team would have been in the KD derby if we waited until the off-season, I think the disastrous second half of the Grizzlies season says you’re dead wrong. They would have been in on Durant and probably would have put Bane up against Bridges in a deal to get it done.

This irrational LeBron hate needs to stop. Dude is the second best player in NBA history. Can we just enjoy greatness when we see it? I tried for ages to discount Jordan and Kobe only to be actively depriving myself from watching greatness. Unless LeBron kicked your dog, you have to chill out here

Yeah I hear ya, but I'm not talking about getting rid of offensive fouls altogether. To be more specific I'm talking about just the off ball defender charges. I guess they could also just leave the rule and actually start enforcing it on the gather which I believe is what it actually is supposed to be. If they did that and the defender had to be set in legal position before the gather started there wouldn't be any real charges anymore. They would be very few and far between.

By the way I'm curious if LeBron James is not top 10 who are the 10 players better all the way around?

I agree with him that LeBron is no longer a top 10 player in the league. He's top 5 all time but amongst active NBA players right now, there are 10 better. He's probably top 20, no less than 25. Top 10 is All-NBA levels and he's just not there anymore. He's become a stat padder that doesn't effect winning as much as he used to.

For any gamblers out there... Cavs, Bucks, Grizzlies will be a juicy parlay on Wednesday. Home teams, down 3-1, rarely lose.

IMO, only the Grizz carry some risk. I could see them mentally collapsing if that game is close.

This has been an excellent post season. I know some have said the West is weak or that this is a down year but I think it speaks to the level of parity across the league. When an 8 seed gets up 3-1 over the 1 seed in the East and only 1 series has a sweep, that says that teams are more evenly matched.

Yes, the field is wide open but I think that speaks to the quality of good teams rather than a lack of them.
