I don't gamble but it would seem to me that betting on Dodgers would have been a bad idea tonight.

All the lines were awful. Put this in another thread. You had to bet $100 to win $50 on the Dodgers but also the Dbacks odds were only +160 so 30% worse than the Dodgers.

Vegas was raking on this game no matter who bet on it

There are times you should do it. Where the odds are so silly you want in and it works. The Dbacks +110 with Gallen pitching was that example.

The entire key to sports gambling is picking your spots. You don't have to play every week.

Costas is fantastic with the Olympics. His cadence and calls don't match the high moments of baseball.

Vin Scully was a masterclass of discussing the game at a conversational level until there was a reason to celebrate a single play.
