At this point, I am only watching this season to see DT pass 10,000 points. This team was a train wreck right from the start. Either it's coaching, or the players we have just can't match up with younger and faster teams.Hopefully this team can get a top 2 pick and walk away with either Bueckers or Clark. Would be a good player to transition from DT.
Taurasi, the league’s career scoring leader, is now 18 points away from 10,000 points. Taurasi, who was coming off a season-high 24 points on Sunday, scored 23 of Phoenix’s 43 first-half points after making 8 of 10 shots, including 4 of 6 from distance. Taurasi finished 10 of 16, with five 3-pointers. - From AZ Sports
Can't even say I've been watching. I will be watching if we have one of Bueckers or Clark next year. The 41-year-old Taurasi doesn’t remember most of her points, although the game in which she broke Thompson’s mark in 2017 will always be special because it was in her hometown of Los Angeles and the late Kobe Bryant was there. Taurasi broke Thompson’s record on a layup and after the game, Bryant dubbed her “White Mamba” as a spinoff of his moniker “Black Mamba.”
“I remember that because of where it was and who was there,” Taurasi recalled.
