Well then get ready for many more fumbles. A defender attempting to chop the ball out happens all the time. MHJ needs to have that ball tucked away. Hopefully a lesson for him.
Why should we expect a lot more? He has already played in 9 games and fumbled once. By your logic he would have already fumbled quite a few times.

two deep throws down the sideline to Marv:

one was just a really good play by the DB. I think Marv will learn to shield off the db to create room for the catch, but he isnt there now

there was another where Kyler tried to back shoulder him -- but instead of stopping and coming back and high pointing, he kept running. That felt like a miss by MHJ

I was responding to someone who said it was just a good defensive play. If that is how you see it then get ready for more as they will be making a point of going after it. This coupled with drops tells me his hands need work.

This is funny. The only you are catching a ball when the DBs arm is between your arms is if you can shift it to one hand. That is why they teach DBs to get their arms in that position.

You can argue that he should have high pointed the ball to avoid that and try to draw a penalty, but this is a stretch.
It’s not a slam dunk catch, but I’ve seen plenty of the top end receivers complete that reception. Yeah everyone says “amazing!” afterwards, but that’s what the best do, make amazing plays. He had control of the ball, but not really with his hands. Had he hand caught it he likely can disengage with the ball still in possession.

And it’s going to keep happening now that Harrison has shown a weakness with the ball in his hands.

I think he telegraphed the pass too. Keep your hands down until the last second and using your body to shield will keep those defenders hand out if there.

Maybe he's overdoing it and putting too much pressure on himself? The talent is there so no point in burning himself out mentally
I get where you're coming from, but this is a trait that many of the greats have. Working harder than basically everyone else.
