Suns only get aggressive when other team is driving to the hoop. And that's an automatic foul. But apparently, a defender can grab, push, elbow and otherwise torture an opponent near 3 point line with immunity.
Yup, I agree. Royce sometimes gets up in people's faces and gets handsy with people and he gets some leeway I guess because of reputation. It's why I wish Dunn got more time. He still gets a rookie whistle but it seems important to build that reputation with the refs so that he can be aggressive defensively without having to worry about foul trouble.

He had problems in Golden State too, his last season was full of squabbles, especially with Green getting irate with him for not playing in the offense.

Also... I think Golden State probably wins those titles with or without him.

They did win before and after KD?

Steph is just unreal. We were on a plane from Kauai but we had wifi so I'm watching on my phone. I'm in the aisle seat lucy in the middle, the guy at the window seat was on the same flight with us both flights sitting next to us. I look over and he's watching the game on his phone too, same streameast feed I had.

Warriors down 17 Steph hits a 60 footer to end the half. Has 24 at the half. They threw everything at him, doubles, bigger defenders like Wagner and Banchero, at one point in the 3rd they were in what looked like a box and 1 with Cole Anthony face guarding Steph. He wound up with 56 including 2 huge shot clock beaters 1 over Wagner one side stepping Banchero.

Up 5 late Anthony beat GP2 baseline and Gary came from behind with that ridiculous hops and length and swatted the shot to Steph to basically lock it down.

Off night from Butler but still good defense and a bunch of key assists and a huge O board. Post had a huge night.

Steph had 12 3's one off his career high 2 off the NBA record 14 by Klay.

No idea how far this team can go they're so small but man it's fun watching Warrior basketball again

Good for you Russ :) Hope some day soon that Suns vs Warriors will be exciting, like when you guys had Sprewell, Mullin, Hardaway & such. We won't return to glory before Steph is long retired though.

Even though we won't make the playoffs I intend to watch some series in both west and east. I will probably catch a couple of Warriors games.

They are saying he is going to have to have micro-fracture surgery if he wants to keep playing. Nobody is the same after that.

I hadn't heard about this in so long, I thought they stopped doing it.

From what little I know, I'd rather have micro-fracture surgery than knee replacement surgery.

Oh boy… haven’t heard about guys having that surgery in a while. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the end of his career.

I guess there are multiple options he is considering: microfracture surgery, meniscus replacement, low-dose radiation therapy, and osteotomy. The problem is none of them have a very good prognosis you can keep playing at the same level.

Sure sounds like they are going to be throwing darts to try and save his career.

My high school best friend had knee replacement surgery. He said the rehab was pure agony every single moment.

With Joel Embiid shut down for the remainder of the season, the Sixers are now squarely in the race for Cooper Flagg.Philadelphia keeps their pick if it remains in the top-six selections.

I'd be surprised, mircofracture surgeries have had terrible outcomes. Not only do athletes no longer undergo them but in general the medical world seems to have come to the conclusion they do far more harm than good.

I’m just three weeks out of a partial meniscectomy and it’s supposed to be the “easy” knee surgery and I ain’t whistling Dixie over here either.

Not agony, mind you. But surgeries just suck big time.

After coming off back surgery, I'm not ready for it, but it needs to be done I've been told.
Oh man… that’s rough.

Did you ever find a good PT for your back? As a three back surgery vet, I wouldn’t wish surgery in that area, or the recovery after, on my worst enemy.

I am worried. Have two bad shoulders, 3 bad discs and a bad knee. All that I know will require surgery. I have put it all off for years. Freaking youth sports jacked me up. My pain isn't unbearable with any of them but I know sooner or later it will catch up to me.

The physical therapy story I will leave for another day.

I'm happy my back surgery went well, but it's still difficult to get out of bed in the morning. I don't expect that to change much.

As I said somewhere on the forum today, if the injuries stack up on you, it gets harder and harder to get resolved as you get older.

I can just about match up with your injury report, except at times, the pain can be almost unbearable.

I totally get it why you had to have it then. For me, it's more a annoying when my shoulder or back doesn't do what I want. My knee usually hurts more when I am cold or overwork it. However, none of it at this time is debilitating. I am sure it will get there.

I hope you never get there.
