OK, I updated my research.

The official site lists all 4 of them as "Redshirt Senior" as opposed to just seniors. https://thesundevils.com/sports/football/rosterSo unless there is some other type of exception, I think they are gone next year.

We do have several other underclassmen WR's that might step up too though, including Sample, and Eusebio, who scored that TD the Wildcats.

Another WR offer. It looks like he had a productive season in FCS and would likely have good chemistry with Leavitt. Hamper is a 6'2".

This will be a good test to see if Duce is all about the money or not, you know they will throw some bucks at him out there. The ACC really isn't going to give him anything more significant in the way of visibility, and their QB situation looks like it is up in the air for next year.

Not really but I'd expect the money to be a factor. For most of college football though, FSU is a much more appealing destination given their history and our own. And then there's the family connection. Personally I'd much prefer the dry heat of Tempe over the Tallahassee humidity but I don't recall despising humidity as much when I was his age.

I think that Omeire technically has another year of eligibility, due to how his COVID and injury redshirt years worked out. I haven't read whether Omeire is coming back, and he really hasn't shown much since his transfer, despite his Texas Longhorns pedigree and four-star high school rating.

Wait, you believe he won’t get more visibility at a perennial football power like FSU than he will at an occasional flash in the pan like ASU? ASU had a magnificent season and looks promising with Leavitt and Dilly. But don’t mistake that for leveling up with FSU in terms of visibility.

That is tough to measure, especially for a biased ASU homer like myself. But there are several factors indicating that ASU is poised to provide better visibility next year. Not a "flash in the pan" by historical standards, ASU will be coming off at least 11 wins and a conference championship, whereas FSU had an extremely disappointing 2-10 record in which they finished 17th in the ACC and didn't even get to a bowl game. Until they right the ship, I expect ASU will be getting more positive publicity, especially if they return to the Big 12 Championship or CFPB next year.

The relative QB situations at the two schools is another factor that will favor ASU in terms of visibility next year. Sam Leavitt is on the Heisman watch list for next year. FSU's QB? He's gone next year. The starting position next year is up in the air at FSU.

The coaching situation also favors ASU. Norvell has had a good run, but his job is in danger after the 2 win season. It doesn't help that while we were extending our coordinators' contracts to provide stability for the players, FSU was firing its offensive coordinator and the WR coach. As we know, Dillingham is a rising star, and a positive publicity magnet for ASU.

FSU plays Alabama next year which will attract a lot of attention for sure. I didn't see any big names on ASU's schedule for next year, but if they are able to get back to the CFPB that will be a big plus. They do have a match against Team Deion in Colorado which could be a marquee matchup.

I think a lot of the pre-season pub is based upon what happened last year and big name starters returning. ASU will have plenty of that, assisted by Leavitt and Jordan Tyson (hopefully), I read on X that he is the highest PFF ranked returning WR in the nation, and that scary combination will generate a lot of "visibility" that I am not seeing over at FSU for next year at least.

Nothing you said is untrue. Also nothing you said changes the national reputation of FSU and ASU enough to elevate ASU’s visibility over FSUs. These things are built on decades of experience. Just look at ESPN using UofA’s logo recently if you want evidence of that. And that’s when ASU is PRESENTLY the four seed and getting more notoriety than at virtually any time in the programs history. Ever seen FSU mistaken for florida? Nope.

ASU isn’t helped by playing on the west coast. Being in the B12 helps as some of their games aren’t ending past midnight anymore. But the league also is lesser profile.

Leavitt is a legit element in this equation next year. But I think you’d be surprised how few people outside of Arizona know who he is. Skattebo is likely the only known player on the devils from this year. So unless leavitt does something incredible in the playoffs, next year he may start on the heisman list (I think that’s legit) the general fan still won’t know much, if anything, about him.

And where do you think ASU will be ranked to start next season? They’re 10? 12? After the incredible season they just had. They’re going to be ranked 16-22 next year imo. Yes, FSU likely starts unranked, but if they get off to a hot start I bet we see voters vault them quickly over ASU.

Mind you, I’m an ASU fan. I’ve known quite a few kids and high school teammates and opponents that played for the devils. But I’ve also been a college football fan for decades and I’ve just become realistic about where ASU resides in the public eye in contrast to the collegiate blue bloods.
