Eh Rice is a JAG. If he was Janden Lice, no one would be talking about him.

Despite his measureables, he posted 6 games of 3 receptions or less last year. And this was in an offense where they were screaming for some other receiver to step up next to Taj Washington.

Palmer was more productive with worse QB play.

Brendan Rice is among the most overhyped prospects in recent memory.

Like I stated earlier, he had 6 games where he had 3 receptions or less, and it's not like he didn't have a QB looking to get him the ball, he played with perhaps the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck.

For being th son of Jerry Rice, he's not an especially good route runner and bigger guys always have the question of whether they can sink their hips low enough to get clean breaks in their routes. Rice shows some stiffness in his hips, which doesn't portend making it in the NFL.
