That doesn’t speak well for “great” players which that ranking seems to support.
Sounds more like an outlier, dude.

I've read no less than seven or so other scouts literally say that Harrison is the best WR prospect since Megatron, Williams is the best QB prospect in years, and the tackle class is one of the best on years. Oh and Maye isn't too far off Williams, neither is Odunze and Nabers from Harrison.

I think I trust the consensus.

Straight forward graph.

Compares 2024 class to other WR's that have been drafted.

Reading a ton of good things about Latu.

If medicals check out - he needs to be a round 1 target for us. Having a legit 10+ sack game changer on this defense would help in so many ways.

You might be correct, but it wasn't too long ago that thinking like that caused us to go Simmons rather than Lamb or Wirfs. And I understand all cases aren't the same, but it is something to consider.

I hope so. Having top 5 picks in back to back drafts where the top end talent is considered mid would be so cardinals.

True but you are talking a premium position (pass rusher) vs ILB. Big difference.

We have two picks - lets just take the two best players in the draft. :)

This is a pretty elite WR group:

Troy Franklin is still undervalued IMO.

randomness suggests big improvements on the way

but the more l look at that chart: its bad beyond just being last.

as noted above-- look at the 1 player in in 90+ vs every other team in the league

its the 31 team smooth curve -- and then the Cards -- not just worse, but about 5 points worse than the curve would suggest the worst team would be

Also, when Simmons came out we were told he could be a fit at multiple positions, including ILB, OLB and DB.

I wanted Lamb or Wills. Lamb has been amazing and Wills has been solid.
In order, I wanted Lamb, Brown, Wills, then Simmons. I was fine with the Simmons pick, but I always felt his best tape was against the Little Sisters of the Poor teams in the ACC. As a Syracuse fan, I watch a ton of ACC football. And Clemson so dominated that crappy conference at that time. Exactly why I never thought that Lawrence was as generational as people thought he was.

No surprise here. There's a reason that the Cardinals are bereft of talent, and one of the worst teams in the NFL. Horrible drafting will do that to a team. Fingers crossed for improvement with Ossenfort and Sears.
