The cost to move from 32 to 3 is going to be pretty steep.

It's pretty crazy to think that KC moved from 27 to 10 and only gave up a 1st and 3rd the following year for the privilege.
It would be steep for sure and a different wr might be a better option. They have Mahomes but it was their defense that got them to the playoffs...they are set to lose some of those defensive pieces... If they want to stay a contender they need to add a defensive star or a piece that makes their offense elite again...and they need to do it without significant cap damage.... Seems a sure thing elite wr prospect would fit that bill

I just realized that I want Harrison, Rice, and Gore out this draft.
Imagine the institutional star power in and around this franchise.

Curse broken. Make it happen, Monti.
I don't know much about Rice Jr...but I like Gores game...he has some wiggle. Seems similar to Michael Carter, though. Maybe I'm off on that.

If Monti passes on taking arguably the 2 best players(Anderson/Harrison) in the draft in back to back years, it will be worse than anything Keim ever did in the draft.
I'll say this, the Anderson and Harrison combo is going to be better than any collection of players, PJJ, Ojulari, and whatever other middling prospects Monti grabs in a trade down.

I haven’t lost a second of sleep over passing on Will Anderson Jr. Now could that change in time? Yes…. Passing on Marv would give me permanent insomnia.

That's not Rice JR... junior is under 6 foot and not very gifted athletically. More of an academic.
This guy is the younger brother...and Brendan is every bit of what the football world expected when his brother came out ten years ago. Big, strong, fast, great hands, pristine routes, strong work ethic.... if he had his brothers name he would be getting first round hype. But he isn't a junior.

Pfff. I get your point but not even close to being true.
I think it is. You have back to back draft picks in the top 4 and pass/trade down on both for roster fillers. What would be worse?
Im thinking Anderson and Harrison are going to be multiple all-pro players.
I’ve been wrong, a lot, before but you just don’t pass on that kind of talent.

@Kerouac. I hated the trade for Hollywood too but it wasn’t a top 5 pick. Those can be franchise changing picks.

This is a player I'm interested in with one of the Cardinals 3rd round picks.

Agreed. He is a baller but has some medical issues.

He is worth the risk at a certain point for sure. We need better LB's.

Hoping Edgerrin Cooper slides to the 3rd round as well.

This guy was a scout for a few years.

Some interesting points.

Well, that guy is full of crap. And there's probably a reason he's no longer a scout. His claim to fame is he thought Randy Moss wuld be good, LOL. WOW, that took a lot of guts to predict that.

According to just about everyone, Harrison is the hardest worker on the team. A guy who doesn't "want it" isn't out there working his ass off every day and just getting by on his genes.
