Eh if you're an ASU fan you'd find that statement crazy.

Because Auburn doesn't have close to the talent or coaching that Daniels is getting.

Guys like Purdy elevate the guys around him. Daniels was a key contributor to failure at ASU.
Again you're holding way more angst against Daniels (I get it for ASU fans) than Bo was at Auburn. They are in the SEC and still recruited very well. Bo was awful. He got better years later at Oregon.

No matter how you cut it up right now Daniels is one of the best players in the country THIS YEAR.

And I cant blame Daniels too much with the mess going on with Herm Edwards. And ASU is still awful so cant blame Daniels for that.

….absolutely the hell not. Do you not watch how many time he completely underthrow his WRs? He’s way too inconsistent.
Quinn Ewers is going to be a 1st round pick and despite his incredible arm somehow cant hit wrs deep consistenty. Never said he'd be a great pro. Just said he'll be one of those guys where either he goes higher than you think or if he goes later he'll perform well enough to think he was drafted to late.

Time will tell.

Sometimes it takes players years to catch on, but I am extremely leery of QBs who struggle for years before they are good.

In college, sure, but I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.

Eh it's kind of like the Kyler/Kliff situation. One of the reasons ASU was struggling was Daniels.

Marvin and Alt are the 2 guys I want with the Cards picks. With Alt, I see Joe Thomas light. I think he'll be a perennial pro bowler. Him and Paris would give the Cards 2 bookend OT for a decade.

One thing that concerns me is Monti came from NE and they never seemed to put a premium on WR. I'd hate it if he passes on Marvin.

Passing on MHJ would be unforgivable.

Bending at the knees, shuffling a wide base, and violent hand strikes.

He didn't produce super impressive play against OSU from what I saw but that could have been a function of camera angles and the like.

Luckily Monti has also worked with teams who have had an emphasis on WRs...and he saw 1st hand what happens when you trade one away (AJ). I don't think he will take the position lightly.

Watch Kool-Aide vs Texas this year.

Dude is not a shutdown corner and has minimal interest in tackling.

That’s like not drafting Myles Garrett because he only had 1 sack in 3 games against Alabama.

Or Pat Surtain II against Florida in the SEC Championship because he got mossed on a couple times.

Or Aiden Hutchinson against Georgia where he got locked down.

Even top 10 picks have a few bad games in college.

On the other hand Kelee Ringo was supposed to be the top corner last year. Kool-Aid definitely does not look as good as Pat Surtain did.
