What do you think?
I mean, this sounds goodSimon led Ohio State with 112 tackles in 2024. His quick reaction time, ability to rapidly change direction and the way he changes speeds make it difficult for blockers to fit him up in the run game. He stays square when slipping blocks. Simon shoots gaps and splits double teams on run blitzes. He shows a good feel for route combinations, doesn't just guard grass and follows the quarterback's eyes to the ball in coverage. He is relentless rushing the passer and had seven sacks in 2024. He closes in a hurry rushing off the edge and shakes blockers rushing between the tackles. -- Steve Muench
Our D definitely has improved7 sacks last year.
Message has been sent to the defense: kill the quarterback
Would not have taken him. Here’s my post from the other thread. T Rex arms, mediocre pursuit speed, sheds poorly, poor tackler. This guy screams special teams to me. Too early for that. He could be used to blitz on passing downs, but is that really a need. Only 15 college starts, not likely to see time at LB
Wow, that's saying somethingAwesome pick! We will love this kid. One of the top tacklers in the draft. All my OSU friends LOVED that pick. Cardinals building a fierce defense, maybe the best of my lifetime.
