I'm not really sure how you plan on gauging this but I would say Stills has been comparable to JJ Nelson and Andre Ellington who were both late round picks by Keim. All three were role players who flashed decent production for that role.
Kinda feel like you didn't do much research on this. Where do you place McBride on Keim's draft resume? Tyrann Mathieu? Alex Okafor? John Brown? DJ? Golden? David Johnson? Reddick? Budda Baker? Christian Kirk? Kyler Murray? Byron Murphy? Zach Allen?
Defending Keim makes me sick, but his drafts are an example of even bad GMs can hit on good players. Monti has not demonstrated that he is a better drafter than Keim to this point. Hopefully he passes Keim but I haven't seen much to make me think he will other than being a better person (which is a low bar).
JJ Nelson had 3 mediocre years, bummed around practice squads and roster fringes for 2 more and was out of the league before he turned 28.
Andre Ellington had 3 mediocre years, did nothing for 2 more and was out of the league by 28.
Both of them are somewhere between Ed Stinson and Josh Mauro if we want to keep it on DT's and Dante Stills is not in the same class. Has 8 career sacks already as a rotational piece. Mauro had 5 in his career. I can't see the future but I can see the player, and if Stills is basically out of the league after next season I think we would both be shocked.
The rest, you names basically every player Keim hit on in 10 drafts. The man was garbage. Now do all his busts.
Of all the players he drafted after round 4 practically all of them were done in the league after 1 or 2 years or bummed around of the back end of rosters and PS's until their rookie deals put them out of their misery. Keaontay Ingram, Lecitus Smith, Christian Matthew, Marquis Hayes, , Keesean Johnson, Tay Gowan, James Wiggins, Michal Menet, Eno, Evan Weaver etc etc
Of all his picks after round 4, and there are dozens, the only players that stuck around are Luketa, Rudy Ford, JJ Nelson, Andre Ellington and Dimukeje (although I'd put money on Dimukeje not making it past this year). And I'm stretching stuck around there because 2 of those were basically done after 3 years. I can't talk for Monti, it's too early, but odds look better he might beat 4 in 2 classes.
And I'm vomiting in my mouth looking at the busts he drafted 4 or higher. His drafts were better when BA was here, which makes me think it was all BA, after BA left they were terrible. Chad Williams, Dorian Johnson, Mason Cole, Rosen, Hakeem Butler, Isabella, Fotu, Lawrence, Isaiah Simmons, Josh Jones, Marco Wilson, Rondale, Zaven Collins for where he was picked, Cam Thomas, MyJai Sanders. Even Kyler is mediocre.
Bad GM's can hit on good players if you give them enough picks. Keim's hit rate was terrible though. In his 80 odd picks the only true great players he drafted are Honey Badger, Budda Baker and likely Trey McBride.
