Probably. Do you have to try to be a **** or does it come naturally?
While I know why you said this and understand it. Please also refrain from escalating.

well thats not good...picked 4th, and get the 12th most productive batch of rookies??
And I think we had the most draft value by far.

As always, PFF is hokum and this was posted for offseason clicks. Take it all with a grain of salt.

We didn't draft these guys for what they can contribute in Year 1. Would've been great to get more, but I'm not tearing what's left of my hair out over it. Melton and Charmin looked like potential starters along with Rabbit TD and Isaiah Adams. Darius Robinson, Trey Benson, and Tip Reiman seemed like they could be at least solid role players (I'm talking floor here, don't @ me).

If that all works out, we saved Michael a lot of money on veteran contracts over the next few years. If Robinson, Melton, and Charmin can become high-level starters and Elijah Jones (who just turned 25 :barf:) can become a role player, this class starts looking real good.

oh I agree...just wanted to get in on the ground floor for the waaaaambulance...
Im higher on Tip than most. Great blocker, which we need...and he caught what few balls were sent his way..if Kyler learns to trust him our 12 package could be devastating

Monti gonna draft Darius Alexander and Anthony Belton just to drive you crazy. Demetrius Knight Jr as well.

i see the Cardinals have released a flight plan (or equivalent) of hosting a playoff game for the Rams

its the one I will never watch. Im fine with stepping up and helping another team when misfortune comes their way, but

its entirely another thing to publicly celebrate helping a division rival host a playoff game -- when you were 6-4 just a couple months prior -- and arguably had you been more aggressive that previous offseason it would have been your own playoff game.

it just feels to me like a commercial for Mike that says "see, I really AM a good person".
FK, I literally said the same thing. I got about halfway through and after that I had enough! The "feel good" wore off once the State Farm staff started talking about how awesome the experience was. It was just too much for me considering we MISSED the playoffs, the game was in the very same building we call home, and it was a division enemy. Just too much for my liking.

yeah...but Mike can say SFS hosted a playoff game in 2024

hopefully it was a dress rehearsal for our own playoff run in 25

Here are the draft picks, how many of them were no longer on either the roster or practice squad at the season’s end?

Just at a glance most are still around.

  • Round 1, pick No. 4 (No. 4 overall): Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr.
  • Round 1, pick No. 27 (No. 27 overall – from Houston Texans): Missouri DL Darius Robinson
  • Round 2, pick No. 11 (No. 43 overall — from Atlanta Falcons): Rutgers CB Max Melton
  • Round 3, pick No. 2 (No. 66 overall): Florida State RB Trey Benson
  • Round 3, pick No. 7 (No. 71 overall – from Tennessee Titans): Illinois G Isaiah Adams
  • Round 3, pick No. 18 (No. 82 overall — from Indianapolis Colts): Illinois TE Tip Reiman
  • Round 3, pick No. 27 (No. 90 overall – from Houston Texans): Boston College CB Elijah Jones
  • Round 4, pick No. 4 (No. 104 overall): Texas Tech S Dadrion Taylor-Demerson
  • Round 5, pick No. 3 (No. 138 overall): Clemson Edge Xavier Thomas
  • Round 5, pick No. 27 (No. 162 overall – from Houston Texans): Texas OT Christian Jones
  • Round 6, pick No. 15 (No. 191 overall — from Indianapolis Colts: UAB WR Tejhaun Palmer

The other way. The Keim picks who were off (and remember, Keim was trying to hold together a 10-win team, not start from nothing.

Obviously it’s easy for players joining a 4-13 roster to stick, especially when the GM is more invested in building the roster with his dudes than winning games.
