The other way. The Keim picks who were off (and remember, Keim was trying to hold together a 10-win team, not start from nothing.

Obviously it’s easy for players joining a 4-13 roster to stick, especially when the GM is more invested in building the roster with his dudes than winning games.
Solid point on the early Keim days.

Remaining Starter Needs: CB, LB
Remaining Depth/Future Needs: EDGE, Dl, OT,WR
The Cardinals put their significant cap space to use this offseason, upgrading one of the NFL’s worst defenses from a season ago by signing Josh Sweat, Calais Campbell, Dalvin Tomlinson and more. Still, Arizona needs a true perimeter lockdown cornerback, with neither Starling Thomas V nor Sean Murphy-Bunting reaching a 61.0 PFF coverage grade in 2024. Although the Cardinals added linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither, he has finished below a 60.0 PFF overall grade in each of the past two years, and 2024 starters Mack Wilson and Kyzir White weren’t much better, with sub-64.0 marks.

Even with Sweat, Campbell and Tomlinson now in tow, Arizona likely needs more blue-chip talent along the front four to pair with returning youngsters Baron Browning, BJ Ojulari and Darius Robinson. Likewise, Jonah Williams and Kelvin Beachum will be free agents next offseason, and the team is without clear succession plans at tackle. The Cardinals could also use another clear WR2 next to Marvin Harrison Jr. after their wideouts ranked only 28th in team PFF receiving grade last season.

CC's contract officially posted.

Current cap is $32.1 million.

Rookie pool is $9.3 million, but since only the top 51 contracts count, it eats up only $4.2 million. Which is why it's important to have all other contracts in to calculate.

That leaves with $27.9 million in cap space as of this moment.

I remember that day we drafted him like yesterday. Did a celebratory drunken lap around the bar I was at because I thought we finally had a qb that would take us to heights unknown. Despite how it ended, I have no malice towards him. Now Ryan Lindley on the other hand..... :D
I was at the official draft party when Graves and Green came in to make their victory lap among cheers from the crowd

Oaken it was amazing. This was a certified "stud" by all accounts and considering that Jake Plummer was the heights for the modern iteration of the Cardinals, one could see why we acted like we won the damn lottery.

In that draft I successfully predicted 9 of the top 10 picks.
Raiders ruined my perfect Top 10 when they went off the rails
