WE NEED a Bidwill that has 1/3 of the willingness to spend money that Jerry Jones does.

Monti Ossenfort also must recognize that the Patriots "splash" signing of Randy Moss "worked out." That he is allowed to take a risk and we will forgive him if it doesn't ring true. (Leonard Williams, Derrick Henry and Amari Cooper) this year proved it can work out.

Player Health

We were rated as one of the worst cafeterias and availability of healthy meals to the players in the entire league in 2023. Gannon mentioned it did improve but WTF is this Monti?
Maybe it contributed to our many injuries.

1. We need a Deep Shot WR threat similar to Jordan Addison, who actually put up a better year than Marvin Harrison. A Christian Kirk 2.0 prototype who can attack the seam of the field.

2. A proven passrusher that will also likely be a splash. You guys can speculate on this one.
Without #1 and #2 it is doubtful we will be able to make a deep playoff run this year.

3
. Depth added to both offensive and defensive lines.

4. A decision made about Xaven Collins or if we want to replace/trade a LB for one who may be a better fit.

5. If we are going with Trey Benson, give him the ball in the screen game like he did in college. Get Cam Skatebo in the draft as a packup.

6. Consider drafting a QB late or signing someone like Jake Browning to pressure Kyler.

Browning : 7 career games with CIN.

12 TDs. 7 INTs. 98 QBR

7. An assistant offensive passing game coordinator. I don't want to see any of Petzing's boneheaded poo next year.

No 3rd and 17 WR Reverse to Michael Wilson on the most important play of the game.

Right now I am somewhere between a playoff win and an NFC championship game appearance to feel like we succeeded in 2025.

I also willingly admit that the lack of a playoff win next year is my last straw for Kyler Murray. I wish we would sign Jake Browning now before the Seahawks grab him.

I voted for a playoff win.

Something not very many people have ever said...I want to be like the Detroit Lions. They won 12 games and 2 playoff games in year 3.

Of course 10+ wins and a playoff appearance would still be improvement.

I agree we need an upgrade over Wilson. MHJ will take a step up next year.

Don’t tell me Reddick or anyone 32 years old. Proven edge rushers don’t grow on trees and teams don’t usually let the good ones walk away. Any suggestions?
3. Depth added to both offensive and defensive lines.
Always
4. A decision made about Xaven Collins or if we want to replace/trade a LB for one who may be a better fit.
Collins isn’t going anywhere. They just resigned him.
5. If we are going with Trey Benson, give him the ball in the screen game like he did in college. Get Cam Skatebo in the draft as a packup.
Benson needs to play more if for no other reason but to add lightning to our thunder while saving some tread wear on Connor.

6. Consider drafting a QB late or signing someone like Jake Browning to pressure Kyler.
Browning is not coming here. I watched Dart from Ole Miss. played against some decent teams. But in what round?

You really got to let this one play call go. If it worked we’d be heaping praise. Didn’t we call a run play on 3rd and very long where Demercado took it to the house?

Pretty good post.

I said this in another post too- if we don’t make the playoffs this next year with this schedule in year 3 of this staff/kyler being together - we need to really consider blowing this thing up starting with dropping Kyler and shaking up the coaching staff

It appeared that they "opened things up" last night some against the 9ers. I'm hoping they learned something from the game, you can't win being conservative and playing scared. I voted playoff win and they MUST win double digit games to consider this team being successful next year. MB's purse strings are gonna have to loosen up a LOT in FA this year. Trade for and sign a couple top end pass rusher/DL help and get one more receiver as was stated above.

Lol I could go through a list of Petzing plays starting in week 1 in the 4th quarter of games but I don't want to get all upset again.

I can't believe the Bears are interviewing him and/or that Petzing even thinks he can be a head coach.
