I’d like to see us keep Baron Browning. But outside our team it’s hard to say because of guys that have been injured.
That being said I’m not looking at guys that are 30plus.
So how about a guy like Chase Young. I never have loved this guy but he is young and maybe ready to really blossom. Also question his culture.
Edge, Josh Sweat is an Eagle connection and is having a decent year.
DI another Eagle connection Milton Williams. He ha 5 or 6 sacks playing tackle which would lead our team.
Wr Darius Slayton. Only 27 and has played with horrible qb’s. He’s averaged 15 ypc and is a big play threat.

On the DL, Osa Odighizua would be my first choice. 30 pressures on the year. Still a younger player. Gives the Cardinals a better pass rush interior player. Other options would be Milton Williams and/or re-signing LJ Collier.

At EDGE, I’m not a huge fan of any of the FA options. Sweat, Ossai, Mack, or Reddick are all options with warts. Cardinals probably will also re-sign Browning. They need some better bodies in this group.

OL. I think the prize is Trey Smith at G. He probably is worth the investment with where the Cardinals are financially. Also need a swing tackle. It wouldn’t shock me if DJ is signed if he doesn’t get starter offers.

Looking at the roster and FA, the WR, G, EDGE and ILB positions are the worst. Along with that, you still need a better interior pass rusher, and a swing OT. Re-signing LJ Collier, Baron Browning and K White starts plugging some holes but isn’t making you “better”.

I agree but leaving those three walk certainly would not help.

Big yes on OSA.

The only tough call IMO is Collier. I don’t think you can add Collier, another high end DL, and a top 60 DL. Just potentially too many roster spots.
Right, which is why our two FA duds are such a scourge. I like Collier better than both, but because we will have to keep them, I don't think we re-sign him.

I think Browning’s case will depend on price. The Cards have turned him free to rush, but not many sacks to show for it. He gets pressures but he’s got to learn to finish. Perhaps he lacks that last second burst the really good pass rushers seem to have. If he expects big money, he’s gone.

I thought Wilson played well for 2 downs & can penetrate.

I don’t think Odighizua ever becomes a premier player. He is great at leverage and could help with collapsing the pocket. He’s not as good at anchoring and can be moved. If the Cards had extra money he’d be useful, but not dominating.

TBF, most FA players come with warts. The appeal of Osa is that he does the one thing the current group of players doesn't do, pressure the QB. Unfortunately that ability does not come cheaply. I think the Cardinals have extra money which is why I feel he should be a priority signing. That said, the Cardinals will not be the only bidder.

Too slow to fit my thoughts. He’ll cost too much for a 3rd WR, but Murray would trust him. If other stuff doesn’t work out, maybe.
My concern is that we saw with Marquise Brown that speed doesn't necessarily mean he will mesh with Kyler. I don't know what a Kirk contract would look like but I don't feel it would be a 3+ year deal and we aren't spending money on our WR room anyways. Again, totally hypothetical scenario, but vet WR options are going to be limited.

Both are pretty much backups & both got injured. Perfect example of being a Cardinals fan lol. If we lose to the 49ers sunday, will that move us from 14 up to 11? Right now 49ers #11 & Cardinals #14 in the draft order.
