NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah has the Buffalo Bills addressing their defensive front in his latest 2025 NFL draft mock following the first wave of free agency this offseason.
In the early stages of the free agent market, the Bills did convince a few interesting names to head to Buffalo. At the top of the list is pass rusher Joey Bosa.
Bosa joins Greg Rousseau helping out on the edge of the D-line, but Buffalo could stand to use some long-term help in the middle alongside Ed Oliver. Landing on a younger player to help Oliver hasn't happened for the Bills in recent years and the NFL Network draft guru thinks Buffalo will manage to do so at the upcoming draft.
Defensive tackle Kenneth Grant from Michigan is the selection at the No. 30 overall spot that is currently held by the Bills at this year's draft.
Heading into 2025, DaQuan Jones is in that spot next to Oliver. He's the space-eating player that allows Oliver to thrive. Grant profiles as exactly that and most mock drafts this spring have Grant off the board well before Buffalo's pick.
In 12 games in 2024, Grant had three sacks, five passes defended, 32 tackles including seven for loss. Pro Football Focus graded Grant a positive 83.7 mark for his efforts last season.
In addition, Grant said he met with the Bills at the 2025 combine.
Jeremiah's breakdown on Grant to the Bills can be found below:

Grant fills a need for the Bills. They recently signed DT Larry Ogunjobi, but he’s facing a six-game suspension. Grant’s raw upside and athleticism are tough to pass up.
