The 2025 NFL Draft is right around the corner, and the Chicago Bears are gearing up to welcome a new group of rookies to the fold. Chicago is sitting in a favorable position with seven selections, including four in the Top 72, to further bolster the roster for new head coach Ben Johnson.
In a new mock draft from Pro Football Focus, the Bears select running back Ashton Jeanty with the 10th overall pick to add another weapon in Johnson's offense. But they don't stop there. PFF has Chicago trading back into the first round (with the Los Angeles Rams) to land a stud defensive tackle in Michigan's Kenneth Grant.
As far as trade terms go: The Bears receive the Rams' No. 26 and No. 127 picks in exchange for their No. 39 and No. 72 selections.
Grant totaled 32 tackles, including seven tackles for loss, three sacks, five pass breakups and two fumble recoveries in 12 games with the Wolverines in 2024.
The Bears made a couple of additions to the defensive line this offseason with defensive tackle Grady Jarrett and defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo. Still, making a move for Grant, who would serve as Andrew Billings' eventual replacement, would be a huge get for Dennis Allen's defense.

The Bears enter 2025 with Gervon Dexter Sr. and Grady Jarrett as their starting defensive tackles, both of whom graded in the low 60.0s in run defense last season. Using the flexibility that comes with having an extra second-round pick, they move into the first round to pick up Kenneth Grant. His 340-pound frame and surprising athleticism would be a massive help for Chicago on early downs.
Grant totaled 32 tackles, including seven tackles for loss, three sacks, five pass breakups and two fumble recoveries in 12 games with the Wolverines in 2024.
