Hags were an expansion team that started in the AFCWest
Actually, for one year (1976) the Seahawks WERE in the NFC West, with the Buccaneers in the AFC West (!), before the Seahawks switched to the AFC West and the Bucs to the NFC Central. "This realignment was dictated by the league as part of the 1976 expansion plan, so that both expansion teams could play each other twice and every other NFL franchise once (the ones in their conference at the time) during their first two seasons."

Haha, I remembered the Seahawks being in the NFC west and Buccaneers being in the AFC West in their first years, 1976, and then swapping. What I wasn't sure about was why they did so. So I checked Wikipedia for that info. :)

I just remembered the hawks being the whipping boy to the afcwest...was excited when I learned they were gonna be in our division...and suddenly they were kicking our asses every year. Not the same Seahawks

Then, we sign Aaron Rodgers for a season...and get our Franchise QB next draft...
Or sign Sam Darnold for a couple years...and get a QB next year...or the following year.

Jets offer 2 firsts and 2 seconds and I'm jumping all over that.

Don’t forget new coach and GM, too, in either of those scenarios. Wash, rinse, repeat.
