If Jack dies or keeps being sick and cant fight and chase after bad guys I dont see how it will keep being much of a show. Also did agent Walker like Larry or Jack? it was so hard to tell. I do have to say the thing with Larry being murdered by Tony was pretty interesting. I just dont understand Tony first he feels remorce than he goes back to the bad guys interesting.

Ugh. The random plot generator drew a dud with this one.

Let's see - we saw Sad Jack this episode, and no one died until the end when seeming "Good Tony" became "Evil Tony" once more.

Where the heck is Chloe? Janis just sucks.

We need this show to go back to what makes it good - Jack running around shooting people.

I'm going to assume that there's more to the "Tony being evil yet again" story. Looking forward to next week. You definitely need to turn your brain off to enjoy this show.

I hope. It just seems that doing this with 6 hours left will result in a very quick ending.

Or a cliff hanging that involves a Tony vs. Jack final season.

Or Tony is doing it to find a cure for Jack.

I couldn't help but notice Tony's look at the end--he certainly didn't come across as a cold-blooded killer.

Perhaps Larry was the FBI mole and the FBI guys who were killed by Tony's accomplice were working with him.

Well, c'mon, stranger things than this have happened on this show. :D

PS - Did anyone else think that Kim looked kind of "ratty" last night? (insert hockey player joke here:________________) :)

Unreal, I'm thinking of just DVR'ing this show and watching it at 9.

You can do that or you can also watch the shows on the Fox on-demand site (no commercials) starting the next day. They have the past few episodes as well in case you missed one. It takes 40 minutes to watch an episode.

Something must happen pretty quickly in the next hour to get Jack healthier, since the "previews of next week's exciting episode" showed Jack leading the search for Tony out in the field.

Or Tony is doing it to find a cure for Jack.

Using Soap Opera logic, this would be the most realistic scenario.

Very strong finale, all kinds of stuff happening. Best thing is Kim freaking Bauer becoming a bad ass! :D

So over the top, so good! Great TV!
I literally laughed out loud a couple of times, which is not a bad thing.
Great set up for next season.

This is what impressed me the most;

Jack giving his last confession, yes I'm a lapsed Catholic, to a Muslim Holy Man.

I both loved the finale and hated it at the same time. It was a great episode, but now I have to wait half a year to find out what happens next. :bang:

I have to admit that I am no longer enjoying this show. I keep watching because I watched all the other seasons, but the repetitive nature of the plot lines is getting tiresome. They seem to be sticking with the same basic formula every season, except more and more over the top. But the part that annoys me the most is the constant supposed alliance switching of key characters only to reveal later that of course they were the good ones (or bad ones) all along, which is obvious to everyone except for the other characters in the show.

Yeah, 24 needs to get a new random plot generator. This one's stuck in a rut.
