I’m not sure if anyone posted about this a few months ago, but The Football Network is a cable channel set to launch this fall with football programming 24 hours a day. It will also be producing a movie based on Joe Ziemba's book, When Football was Football: The Chicago Cardinals and the Birth of the NFL.”

I stumbled on this by accident. I was actually looking for a story I once seen on NFL films where they were interviewing Pat Summerall and some other former Cardinal players from years ago. One former player was saying that the team needed a Quarterback so the team drafted one in the first round. When they got to training camp, the players couldn’t figure out why this QB couldn’t throw worth a lick. According to the former player, the team drafted the QB based on how his picture looked. I guess player evaluations for the draft have improved a tad since the old days. I wanted to find out who that QB was, but I couldn’t find anything.
