Out today for PS2 only. Covers the time between Seasons 2 and 3. I got mine at Best Buy for $39. I'll post more once I actually get to play it tonight.

I put in about 90 minutes and passed the first three "hours" or missions. So far it has been a nice mix of shooting, driving and puzzle action. The cinematics are beautiful especially for PS2.

I am still getting used to the shooting and stuff, since I am very used to GTA's controls.

Is it a free roaming set up?

Are your missions on a one hour time limit?

Cut scenes fill in the story gaps?

C'mon, man! Give us a better synopsis!!!!!

;)

Ha ha! OK, sorry. :)

The game is NOT free roaming like GTA but linearly mission based like "The Getaway".

Basically, so far, it seems there are two missions per "hour". They don't take a real hour, prob more like 20-40 min, but the story definitely has the exact feel of the show.

The cut scenes are intense and fill out the overall storyline. Also when you hit certain save points within a mission, the screen will split into 2 or 3 sections and show the baddies doing some bad stuff or talking about you breaching their security and such.

The game takes place in between Seasons 2 and 3, just after Pres Palmer's acid assassination attempt. The first mission is Jack and a recon team working a tip that a large amount of weapons-grade ricin is at the harbor.

Chloe and Chase are introduced as members of CTU: Washington DC. IIRC, they were both introduced in season 3, so that is a nice touch.

Anyway, the game is good so far and I will try to post more as I get further along. I know D-Dogg will be playing my copy this weekend, so maybe he will give his thoughts too. :)

Cinemas and story and voice acting is superb. AI of the enemies sucks out loud...really really bad. However, the feel is 24. Not the best game I've played, not the worst. About a 70. Story and acting 100. Minigames are great.

If you Love 24, then you must play it. If you like 24, you might play it for a bit. If you don't like 24, this game won't change your mind.

For a 24 fan though, you'll probably love it. I'm playing it with a smile on my face despite it being fairly easy...the story is worth it.
