Just one question concerning Zombie movies.

Will there ever be one where it doesn't take half the friggin movie for the protagonists to figure out you have to shoot them in the head to them?

I mean, can't someone say "Hey, I remember this Zombie movie one time. You have to shoot them in the head to kill them!" or something like that?

BTW, I think "Resident Evil" kicked butt! And I'm not just saying that because I have a thing for Milla!

You didn't have a 'specific' way to kill them in 28 Days later, so I guess that answers your question.

I have to vehemently disagree about Resident Evil, though I agree about Mila. That movie was HORRIBLE! Scene after scene of zombies shuffling around and trying to grab feet as people climb upwards. It would have been funny but it failed even in a stupid-funny way, IMO. But..mmm..naked Mila Jovovich!!!

Brilliant movie! Very stylistic, and I thought the digital video did a lot to add to the extreme grittiness.

Acting is great all around--I've never heard of most of the actors (only Christopher Eccleston-from Elizabeth, and Brendan Gleeson-from Gangs and Braveheart), but they should get some looks in the future.

The ending was great--nice to turn the entire premise on its head.

I'll give this one a 4--much preferred over Armageddon! :D

For those of you who haven't seen this, or those who'd like to see it again, a new ending is being attached starting July 25. The original ending will still be shown, but after the end credits another ending will play.

I thought this movie was really cool - and what I like the most about it was the camera work. I thought that was extremely well done. I read somewhere that a critic called it amateurish - whatever, apparently you like your movies all nice and polished.

I want to go back and watch it in the theater again though - I heard that if you see it again after July 27th I think, and stay past the credits - they've tacked on an alternate 4 minute ending.

okay - just saw this on HBO

****SPOLIERS**********

The ending I saw was that the guy & 2 girls were in a cottage and laid out a huge "HELLO" spelled out in sheets to a passing-by reconnosance jet.

What were the other endings?

this movie flat out sucked - i can't believe how highly this has been rated on this board. So many holes, ridiculous concepts, bad acting and a ridiculous monster chase at the end.
