Going by schedule, Houston has like the 26th hardest, Lakers the 24th hardest, Utah the 4th hardest.

The Lakers will have to TRY very hard to give Utah back the 8 seed. More likely, GS will falter, with a similarly ok schedule as Hou and Lakers, but playing very badly and hitting a wall.

you keep bringing up GS as the faltering team but they've won 6 of 10 and have 9 home games to 4 road games left. they faltered because they were on the road for a big chunk of the last two months. now they get to reap the benefits of being at home, where they're much tougher.

that being said, you're right. The Lakers will have to suck some serious ass to give the 8 seed to the Jazz. That team is in complete free-fall.

An old team, on the 2nd night of a back to back and he uses a 7 man rotation. They had nothing left in the 4th. Mike D slays me
I thought the same thing. He tries to sprint through a marathon. His whole approach to the game is nearsighted. What coach doesn't prepare his team for inevitable injury coverage?

That is one of the many reasons why those of us who don't respect him as a coach . . . don't respect him as a coach. His point of view is extremely limited.

You have to give him credit, though. After coaching in Denver and Phoenix, he graduated to the two largest sports markets in the country -- New York and L.A.

He doesn't learn from his mistakes. What do they see in him that we know isn't there?
