* At #29, I have a feeling that Floyd, Spence or Rankins will be available---I was ready to trade down, but Rankins was too high on the board to pass up.

* At #92, I wanted that "big CB"---but having Jones as a CB/PR was a bargain, imo. Plus Jones plays bigger than his size would indicate.

Funny how everyone was saying the end of R1 was too high for Ryan Kelly but more and more mocks have him going top 20. Center will be our Achilles heel.

I love the 1st rd pick and we do need a CB and Returner so I'm good with the Cyrus Jones pick.

Mitch, who are the top Punt Returners in this years draft IYO?

Thanks, Cardiac. I think Cyrus Jones is the best punt returner in the draft, by far really...although I wonder how Sterling Shepard would do if he was given more chances.

I'm good with that draft.

BA & SK said today, Beerz, they want an immediate impact player with their first pick and I think DT Sheldon Ranking fits the bill. I did;t plan on him being there---it just kind of happened. Chances are he will be taken earlier, but who knows? With 3 QBs going in the top 20---if that's the case---that gives us a stringer chance of getting a pass rusher or one of the top DBs---or even the center if Kelly makes it to #29.

I like the Jets and Steelers picks. You could be right on there. Wishful thinking for Cards I think.

Lee doesn't make it past 25. He'd be a great addition.

Im happy with any of those outcomes.

I love Rankins but 1. I doubt he falls to us and 2. I'm not sure he would fit in our scheme anyways. It seems like his best spot is at 3-technique and he's probably too short to play NT. Hope I'm wrong but it's hard for me to think of players that short playing NT in a 3-4

Williams was short. Listed at 6', but I doubt it.

Because Rankin can rush the passer, he is a fit in any team's scheme.

Yep! Stud!

It's the same comparison of having a LB who's a run stopper only & can't cover my deceased grandma. Guys who can do more than 1 thing are more valuable!!!
