First I wanna say I'm proud of this team even though we still won't get the respect we derserve.
Now 3 things;
1). Carson Palmer has to go... You wanna be mediocre then keep a mediocre QB. Please draft a QB in the first round.
2). Quit being stubborn BA! You kept a potential star inactive all season for a 3.1 ypc RB. Wow I can't believe a professional coach could be that stubborn and get away with it!
3) Use Fitzgerald like the star WR he is... What a waste of talent!
Goodwin / Arians get a clue!
Sorry those are my 3 glaring things that cost us a playoff berth.
Oh sorry 1 more...IMO PP is overrated!
Can't wait til next year!

Get a clue, Carson is a major upgrade and was a huge part of this teams success and even being in the playoff mix to start with!

1. disagree
2. disagree
3. agree to a small degree. But getting other players involved makes an offense better.

I disagree... Too many picks cost us a few games. Yes much better than last year but still mediocre and week 17 he's still not in sync with his receivers not to mention he has Fitz a top 5 WR and he doesn't even get 1000 yds??? Why because he can't get the ball to him regularly. If he did we would be in the playoffs.
I'm not trying to be ungrateful I just want better...like a playoff berth.
And I think CP is Big reason we didn't get in.

OK ...
1). Maybe I'm wrong about CP but didnt he throw way too many Ints? And hasn't he had enough opportunities to take his teams to the playoffs?
I'm ready for a 1st rd pick to groom.
2) you must be joking!

1) Carson has to go? Lol Not yet! Yes we do need to draft a young stud QB

2) #11 being under utilized? Agree
Draft a speedy slot WR or a reliable TE & utilize Fitz like we used to instead of short & in the slot most of the time

3) you are talking bout the same RB who gets hurt when the wind blows & has played like 6 careers games? Lol
Give me a break! Call me when #34 has 200 career rushing yards before inducting him in the HOF

How could you say CP is a big reason we didn't make the playoffs, when he is a big reason we even made it to 10-6 to begin with? I'm not saying to be grateful and complacent. I agree that we still need to look for our QBOF, but at least give him some credit.

He's as much to blame as Feely for this loss!
If you don't throw it to the LB on OU own 25 which leads to a SF score we probably win. Didn't he throw as many Ints as TDs? Are you happy with that? We've had horrible QBs so long that you guys are happy with mediocre. Well not me I want better. I said he has to go but I meant ... Draft a 1st rounder then let him watch CP for a few games or so til he throws 3-4 Ints in game then put the kid in and join the rest of the NfL Elite!

No he did not. He threw one INT and that did not cost us the game. He did lead us back an marched down the field while under pressure through out the second half against a great defense.

CP had too many Ints through out the season. BA made excuses for him all season.
After 16 games he was still out of sync with his receivers and throwing the ball across the middle into triple coverage.
Just sayin! Yes 4000 yds is nice but he also ruined a lot of scoring drives with Ints (2nd most out of 32 starting QBs)and overthrows.
I used to be so excited when Warner dropped back to pass... Don't ever get that feeling with Palmer.
Just wish I had a better QB.

When analyzing the year you've got to look and consider the progression the players made while learning the system.

1.Yes , Palmer threw too any picks, but most was in the first half of the season. As the o-line improved , so did Palmer. Yes we do need to think about a QBOF. But that guy will not be starting next year unless Palmer gets hurt. This offense was SO much better than last year...or have you already forgot how bad we were. Over 4000 yds...that is a bit better than mediocre.

2. No joking. The day of the bell cow RB are over. MOST teams have developed a 2 headed monster. Mendenhall was a huge improvement over
Beanie Wells. Mendenhall stayed healthy and carried a big enough load to allow Ellington to be used at a safe amount of carries. Could Mendenhall be replaced next year? I suppose but it certainly isn't a terrifying need.

This team IS a playoff team in almost every sense of the word. We have a better record than 3 or 4 playoff teams. Not bad for a team picked to win 4 or 5 games this year.

Crazy talk for sure. Palmer made us a team with an offense again. Yes some picks came with the 4000 yards but he has had a string of games that have been damn good.

Today one pick against a dominant defense. Not mentioned was the 400+ yards he threw for in this game with several drops to boot.

Draft a QBOF is fine. Next year he can watch Carson.

Yes I saw the 2 TDs and 1 Int while I was watching the game...I meant he threw as many Ints as TDs for the season, well just about. Ask any NFL analyst what the biggest problem was for AZ... I bet they say too many Ints by Palmer.
As I said before I don't wanna be ungrateful just better.

Palmer has his faults be he was a top 5-7 QB the second half of the season.

What makes you think drafting a rookie QB at #20 is going to make the Cards better than they are with CP? Chances are you're more likely to get Brady Quinn than you are Aaron Rodgers.

I'm all for Mettenberger in round 2 and then groom him for a couple years UNDER Palmer. Palmer was not the Cards problem this year.

Warner was an INT machine too.
Fitz was asked to be a complete team player which he did.
Many of Palmer's int's were a result of trying to force the ball into said stars hands.
I give kudos to Fitz for being the ultimate team player. Why can't you?
R.Williams has done nothing in this league except piss off his coach.
I have a lot more faith in Arian's judgment then I do in Williams unproven talent.

Mettenberger in the 2nd rd is exactly why we never get a star. We need to trade up and get Bridgewater. Then with our Defense we have potential NFL title 2 years from now.
