Football really can be simple. Give me a QB, HC & the ability to both run the ball & stop the run. If you can do that, you're a playoff team. We have a young QBOF & NOTHING ELSE.

Imagine if the 2015 team actually had a pass-rush.

You got that right. Imagine trading for Chandler Jones for this season. But even with the lack of a decent pass rush this team was stacked. Late season injuries did us in. Losing HB who, IMO, was the heart and soul of the defense killed us. Especially considering he was hurt in garbage time.

That play had me going nuts also. Now I am happy if DJ gets positive yardage on a carry.

Even with HB healthy, we still lose to Carolina. We probably beat GB by more, though.

I don't think we lose to Carolina. But then again HB wouldn't have been able to help with turnovers.
HB was only able to do so much. He would’ve helped, but nearly enough to turn around a 49-15 thrashing. Unfortunately, Cam & Carolina was on a bigger mission than us.

But then they ran into arguably the best defense I ever seen.

Arians biggest mistake going with Lindley. To this day I'll never understand it. I would have taken Max Hall...Skelton....Anderson...anyone but freaking Lindley. Worst QB I have ever seen

Best team in AZ Cardinals history, including the Super Bowl team.

The Super Bowl team caught lightning in a bottle during a four game stretch. One play away from one of the greatest Cinderella stories in NFL history. A month that I will never forget

HB was a huge loss, but everyone is still forgetting Carson broke his finger. IMO, that injury snapped his hot streak (even followed him into the following season).

Those 2 injuries ended up hurting us a lot.

It was the greatest playoff run that I've ever seen. Nobody believed in us. Worst playoff team ever. Fitz was unreal. A man possessed.

This too, but in the end, our lack of pass rush caught up to us. We couldn’t get pressure at all on Cam. Like without looking it up, I don’t even remember if we even sacked him once.

i don't think there's ever been a single-playoff performance run by anyone else who matched what Fitz did. he was a one-man wrecking crew on offense as a WR. It was incredible to watch.

We had one sack and one interception. They had 3 sacks and 4 interceptions.

Fitz was a monster during the 2008 post-season and broke nearly every NFL major playoff receiving record, including receptions (30), receiving yards (546), touchdowns (7). Four consecutive games with at least 100 yards receiving, also an NFL record for the post season. Just dominant.
