I was hoping & praying for 2-2 & be at .500 at this point, but a chance at 4-0? with the lambs next week and possibly 5-0 start? WOW!

It was just a matter of time - ONE week at a time OK. Anyone thinks any game is a gimme are sadly mistaken. Just ask NE. Any given Sunday bro.

It is a good thing that fans can look ahead, (or past the current game), and it doesn't hurt the preparation for the current situation. I am VERY happy that the Cardinals players are not doing the same. They know the possible consequences of looking past the present. I am simply reveling in taking in all that we accomplished this past week. I am lovin' it.

I know this thread is not taking anything for granted and is just looking at the possibilities of going 4-0, but unlike other fan forum sites of teams...I am not going to be one of the arrogant people which sees an opponent like they are a gimme win. I respect the ability of every single team with their own level of talented players which can beat you. I see no easy games, FIGHT ON CARDINALS! Yes, 4-0 would be sweet :)

There are NO easy games in the NFL...

BEST players in the world and each game is really decided by 5-10 "key" plays. All that being said, the Cards are clearly playing well and we're at home. I like our chances but I have seen far too many games lost where the favorite, for whatever the reasons, just didn't win. So, I think, like the players, I'm guarding my expectations.

SHOW UP...PLAY HARD...AND WE'LL SEE!

P.S. But, yeah, just to be in this position is AWESOME!

GOOD POST! :)

I will blame this thread if the Cards lose on Sunday.

This. I would have been elated with a 2-1 start. To be 3-0 to start the season, well, I've never seen it before in my 22 years of fandom!

Actually early in the preseason many Cardinal fans thought that with the way the schedule fell early that the Cards had a good chance of being 7-1 or 6-2 going into the game at Green Bay. But 4-0 no. Simply because of the road game at New England.

Then the preseason struggles at QB and especially the offensive line turned that optimism into pessimism. Most of us believed our defense would be good again but not too many thought the offense would once again manage to do just enough to continue winning.

Let us not get ahead of ourselves. I will be happy if we can just beat Miami by one point on a last minute field goal. We beat the tough teams but you never know who will jump up and bite you. These guys play in the NFL and the ball can bounce in either direction.

I would have celebrated if we had been 2-2. To beat NE and the Eagles seemed impossible. Even the Seattle game with there big defense and that monster of a runner looked real tough. I think NE and Philly figured there game against us was almost a lock just like some of us think our game with Miami may be a lock. I will take a win anyway we can get it. Even with a bad call from the ref.

See the word CHANCE. No gimme games, I know, one game at a time, I know that too. Also, when Was the last time multiple power rankings had the cards as a top 5 ranking, with one having us, GULP, #1???? I just don't know how to act.....

Everyone here is wrong, the game is going to end in a tie. We'll still be 'undefeated' but that's just one more win we could have had.

Going into week 5: Cardinals are 3-0-1

I'm glad we won but I really don't understand why it wasn't on TV?

Bite your tongue. The Cards once missed going to the NFL Title game because of a tie!

From CNNSI:

Miami Dolphins at Arizona Cardinals
Start:
• Dolphins -- None: If the Patriots and Eagles cannot muster much against this burgeoning monster of a defense, forget about the Dolphins doing it.

What world are we living in? People talking about 4-0?! the media referring to us having a BURGEONING MONSTER OF A DEFENSE?!

gotta keep on keeping on and crush these fins this weekend.

Teams already have 3 weeks of film to study, so an OC is bound to come up with plays to counter the Cards defense. Plus, all teams will be gunning for them since they are one of the few undefeated teams left.

I'm a bit nervous about this Miami game ...

I am nervous too, but honestly, look at the tape of the last 3 weeks. Horton has done different things and different looks every single game. He is a true madman.
