Just bored on a Sunday afternoon. I am using CBS Sports overall Prospect Rankings as my baseline:

Pick #7: Jarvis Jones OLB - Georgia - Pass rushing specialist that immediately starts opposite of Acho day one.

Pick #38: Zach Ertz TE - Stanford - #2 tight end in the draft. Has had a good career at Stanford. Will be on the field in 2 tight end sets next season.

Pick #66: Brian Scwenke C - California - He has started at guard and center for the California Golden Bears. He projects as the #2 center in the draft and immediately comes in as a backup interior lineman in case of injury or subpar line play.

Pick #103: Josh Evans FS - Florida - I like his 40 time, shuttle and cone drill. We need safety depth and this seems like a good spot to take one.

Pick #140: Kenjon Barner RB - Oregon - Explosive playmaker in space. He has the speed and quickness to take any play the distance. I like him more of a slot option rather than a strict running back. He can also return kicks.

Pick #174: William Gholston DE - Michigan State - Back up to Darnell Dockett. Appears to have the physical traits of a 3-4 DE and will be a possible replacement to DD in the future.

Pick #219: Knile Davis RB - Arkansas - 7th round flier on a big and fast running back. He has the size to be a three down running back and will be a back up to Rashad Mendenhall in case he get hurt through out the year.

Would like to get a starting guard in this draft. But I like the draft a lot. I would be thrilled.

Kniles Davis was injured most of last year so got little notice after being the new comer of the year as a freshman in the SEC. Now that he is healthy he can be a real force with the speed, size, and go inside or outside. He could go in round 6 or 5 for those who know about him.

So, I pretty much hate your entire draft but I do appreciate the work you put into it. A couple points...

1-I hate the idea of taking a slow and small player for an edge rusher at pick #7. He isn't as big as Suggs was, he isn't as fast and Suggs was and he wasnt' as productive in college as Suggs was. He isn't Suggs. I know some are fixated on his college stats, but high effort, which a lot of his college sacks were, doesn't get it done in the Pros at OLB in a 3-4. As a WOLB in a 4-3, maybe, but not as a 3-4 OLB. Too limited for the top 7.

2-I like the Ertz pick.

3-I like Schwenke, but is a round 3 C really going to turn around our offensive line? On top of that, this is another player with limited size.

4-I am ok with Evans though he didn't stand out at Florida which concerns me.

5-Barner is a flashy player, but I question his fit in Arians offense. He isn't a great pass blocker and Arians doesn't throw the ball to RBs a whole lot. Are we taking a LSH type player who will not have a role in the offense with a 5 th rounder? Bad idea IMO.

6-I like Gholston, but I question the fit. He is a 6th rounder because he is a project. My issue is with Dockett, Campbell, Williams, Carter, Shaughnessy, Rucker and Talley, where does he fit? He won't make it to the practice squad, but we have tons of depth along the d line and will only carry so many players running a 3 man front.
