we just played a team that has been walking on it's own Johnson all season....and we barely squeaked out an ugly win.

And we handed them their worst loss of the season. Would have been 16 points if not one mental error.

These Thursday night games are a threat to players health and careers.

Is there any evidence of this? (I'm legitimately asking!) I don't recall hearing about any reports of increased injuries in Thursday night games or anything that would support your assertion, but i'd be interested in seeing it.

Dave, I have only hearsay, but I was listening to the morning drive on NFL radio the other morning and the 2 hosts (can't remember names) just went off on the Thursday night games. They said they hated them, bad for players health because their bodies don't have time to recover from a Sunday game. Some players just can't get ready in that short amount of time. Can barely review the tape of the Sunday game on Monday, short walk thru on Tuesday and then on a plane on Wednesday. Bad for the game, but they're here to stay at least for the foreseeable future.

What surprised me the most was these guys were so down on Thursday games and said so on the air. I thought the NFL owned the radio station and how could they be so critical of their owners if that's the case.
