I expect to see at least 4 sacks against the rams. Pace is doubtful and the rest of the Oline is completely shuffled (sounds familiar?) We must get consistent pressure on Bulger.

I expect the same game plan from last week. Take the leash off of Dockett and let him rip through the middle.

Eliminate the cutbacks and we should be able to contain Stephen Jackson.

Holt is a gamer, but I really think him and Bulger aren't on the same page with Linehan's new Offense.

I picked up AZ-Def this week (dropped TB-Def) on my fantasy roster and I am starting it. Also, I am starting Warner at QB. I expect this game to be a great one for the Cards....

This should be a statement game. This should show the teams true character. After a decent performance against the 49ers... a horrible showing against Seattle it is time for the boys to show something instead of all this talk.

This is the game I expect progress. I expect to see this team play physical and beat up on the Rams.

I want to see my cardinals actually beat up another team for once.

I'd have said the same thing, but after watching an anemic pass rush against a banged-up niners' offensive line I'll just be pleasently suprised if they smack Bulger around.

Having said that I know that Wilson whacked Bulger out of one of the games either last year or the year before, but Bulger seems banged up a lot and it seems to happen mostly against AZ.

Is this homerism at it's finest or am I actually accurate?

Guys I think San Fran's line is better than we may have thought. The Rams didn't sack Smith either last week.

Could be... Denver gave up 4 to the Rams and Hawks gave up 3 to us after we only got 1 (Smith ran OB) agaist SF. Are not those two of the best lines in the NFL?

I am still deciding between Arizona or NYJ vs. Buffalo.

Two fold here. Smith is quick QB and Norv Turner's offense uses so much motion, rollouts, bootlegs and misdirection that it is hard to pin your ears back and get after him.

Also, the Niners had more injuries last year than we did. Most of those players are back healthy. It also doesn't hurt to have a running game all of a sudden.

Good idea. If Pace is playing this week, we'll put 4 flour sacks over his head and he won't know who to block.

You got that right. Of course now it's Friday and the enthusiasm is building. As I venture out for coffee, this morning, in Giant/Patriott country, Darien, Ct., I'll be sporting a Cardinal cap. And tomorrow, and Sunday the Cards tee shirt comes out. Monday, it depends, naturally.

I'd like to see Langston Moore in on passing downs. He was getting some good push up the middle against Seattle. Something we haven't seen from our "Big" DT in some time.

This with two backups playing on the left side for most of the second half. J. Jennings and L Allen out wiht injuries. T. Wragge and A. Snyder did a great job.

By the way against the lambs our defense registered 6 sacks. So you can get to Bulger and when you do he does get rattled and then starts hurring things leading to mistakes.

SF's line went from terrible to pretty good in the space of just last year so I'm not surprised I thought it would be a strength this year. Snyder played so much last year it's helping him now. I'm surprised that Wragge is ahead of Baas but my understanding is Baas splits snaps in practice between C and Guard so that may have something to do with it.

I hope we can get to Bulger as often as SF did, different type of defense but we can bring safeties and LB's the way the 49ers did but it would be nice to get some pressure from our DE's who so far have been pretty silent.
