Hey Cards fans. Like the title states, I'm a 49ers fan. Just wanted to drop by and say good game yesterday. I was impressed with how you guys essentially shut down our offense, especially in the Red Zone. You're really flying under the radar with 5 wins in your last 6 games, so you may be able to push for a wild card spot. If not, then I expect a tight divisional race with you guys next year. Good luck with the rest of your season. Perhaps we'll see you again this year. If not, see you next year.

Thank SF fan. It was sweet to finally win one after 5 straight losses; expecially at home.

Best of luck unless WE get lucky...

No problem. And I agree. I am tired of the division winner always getting blown off for winning a weak division. Even on our 8 game winning streak, it was because of our division according to "experts", regardless of the fact that only one of those were divisional games during the streak. I want to win, but I want to have a competitive division again. Hopefully with how the Cards and even Seahawks are playing as well as the 49ers, next year we can stop being called the NFC Worst.

It would be great if we both got to the playoffs to make the media eat some crow. Even better if we met later in the playoff rounds.

Hey! 49tolife....

WELCOME! :) Classy fans always appreciated! Being A Cardinals' fan from the "old" NFC East days (67') I don't have the same "emotion" when we play your 49ers. Now, when we play/beat the Cowboys (like last week) Giants, Redskins, or Eagles (earlier this year)...everything's ratched up several notches for me.

I will say this. You guys made a great decision in hiring Harbaugh. I don't see him or his coaching style as a 1-hit wonder. The team has bought in and I can easily see them being a force for many years to come.

As for the Cards? Well, we're on the "cusp". Question is will the Bidwill's do their part. We are nervously watching the Calais Campbell contract situation. It's a no-brainer to sign him to a long-term deal as he has become a "beast" on the field. So, this is like your mgmt. deciding IF they want to re-sign Patrick Willis. No-brainer, right?

But, with this team, well....

Anyways, MERRY CHRISTMAS to you-n-yours. :)

...And thoroughly ENJOY your moment, my friend. :) The NFL is very fickle when it comes to winning and continued success. It's the nature of the beast.

Thanks for stopping by. I know you guys were down 2 offensive linemen and Patrick Willis, but this was more a Cardinals WIN than a Niners loss IMO.

Nice of you to give credit to our new 'D'. They have been working very hard all year trying to learn Horton's new scheme. They have become a very respectable unit with their own identity now, and will only get better with time.

I wish you and your Niners a successful playoff run. See you again next year for some real football. We are tired of the whuppin's you gave us lately.

I'm an old NFC East guy myself, so I have more hatred for the Cowboys, Eagles & Skins than I'll ever have for the Niners. With the Cardinals normally out of the picture come playoff time, I rooted for many of the 49er teams of the past to win. Montana is still one of my favorites! Of course, I'm a Notre Dame fan too.

Classy post. I hate the Niners and really appreciate the way our rivalry has taken off. Nevertheless, just like some pretty cool Niners fans did for us couple years ago, I'll be pulling for you in the playoffs as long as its not against us. Best of luck.

Thanks!

FYI, don't say the bolded above part out loud cause everytime the Niners and Cardinals think they are duking it out for the division one or both teams suck.

Classy post, thanks or stopping by. I was as low as could be at parts of this game, but as high as I've been on them as well. I don't know about fighting for the division next year. I think some upgrades on the OL and continued improvement by the defense will be needed to win some of the closer games we lost earlier in the year.

I think we are on the right track though. Huge difference between this team and the team 10 or so weeks ago. The Niners will show us how good they really are in the playoffs. I hate them, but I wish you luck. That said, I will be cheering for the other team... :p
