Id take Dwashs brief altercation, admittance of a problem and resolve he took vs aldon smiths straight up lunacy, multiple DUIs and consistant problems over a long amount of time.

potatoe potato as far as I'm concerned.

and who's to say Smith is mentally stable or right in the head? No one, but I'm sure if he was a Cardinal, some people would be lining up to ask those questions and defending him. Hell, people here were defending Pittman back in the day when he was beating women and driving cars into houses. It's an Animal House thing of "You can't do that to our pledges...only WE can do that to our pledges." Well, I think it's bs across the board. The NFL has a pretty big problem with it's players off the field, whether they're on our team or someone else's.

DWash, a huge mass of man, broke a woman's collarbone and shoved her to the ground. Those facts aren't in dispute. Yet, because it was a "brief" altercation, that makes him somehow better then Smith? I don't see it. They're both pretty suspect characters if you ask me.

I believe that the facts not in dispute are that he shoved her, she fell and broke her collarbone.

semantics. he shoved her to the ground, and broke her collarbone in the process. but you're right...my wording made it sound like he broke it and then shoved her, which makes it sound worse. that said, it's still pretty bad.

Agree the result is bad, but it wasn't semantics. If the agreed upon facts were a blow breaking her collar bone, followed by a push, intent to injure would come into consideration and the court would not have been lenient.

shoving a women away isnt as bad as smashing your car passed out drunk in neighborhoods or telling TSA agents you have a bomb. Terrorist acts or gross negligence in a vehicle that could result in death are far more serious actions.

to each his own i suppose.
