Hold onto the ball, Murray!
Both the Seahawks and the Whiners are wasting draft picks in trades...love it!
Ted's contract.
7/27/2007: Signed a five-year, $19.6 million contract. The deal includes $14 million guaranteed. 2009: $677,917, 2010: $1,035,833, 2011: $1,393,750, 2012: $1,801,667 (Voidable Year), 2013: Free Agent
And since that is all he will be, who cares?5th rounder for a punt/kick returner? I'll take it!
http://blog.pressdemocrat.com/49ers...are-another-way-to-get-hands-on-the-ball.html--Ginn said he wants to handle all the returns for the 49ers. His action on punt returns was limited the past two seasons after doing a good job as a rookie in 2007.
"I'm very open to it," he said. "It's one of the things I like to do. That's me. That's another way I can get the ball in my hands."

I would have been happy had we given up a 4th for him.
Jordan Shippley or Jacoby Ford in the 3rd or 4th will probably not be better than Ginn.

Didn't think about this. I didn't want Spiller in a Niner's uniform.
If the Cards would have given a 5th for him, i think most would be very happy.
We'' probably never know if Ginn could be a good WR,or not. Look at the QB's he's had to work with, Cleo Lemon, noodle armed Pennington, 1st year Henne, and now Alex Smith. I can't see any WR thriving with that group. If the Cards would have given a 5th for him, i think most would be very happy.
