Selection Sunday began with about 80 schools waiting to see their name appear in the NCAA's 68-team men's tournament field. As you can tell, that math doesn't quite add up. Some of them were going to spend Sunday evening severely disappointed.
In a relatively deep year across the sport, the bubble featured some pretty strong — and familiar — names who did not make it into the the tournament and won't have a chance to win a national title. We're talking blue bloods, new bloods and quite a few strong resumes in between.

While we're not going to pick and choose which schools should've been left out in 2025, it's clear these teams should have some legitimate gripes about missing out on the big dance.
