As the countdown to heading down Magnolia Lane continues, Golfweek is taking a look back at some Masters history through the years.

Today, it's time to examine the 2019 Masters and the significant milestones that occurred at Augusta National Golf Club that year.

Who won the 2019 Masters?​


Tiger Woods wins the Masters for a fifth time, only one of two players to win at least five Masters titles. Tiger didn't take the lead until the final round, when he went on a back-nine birdie barrage while 54-hole leader Francesco Molinari and others in contention fell apart. Woods shoots 70 or better in all four rounds.

Matt Wallace won his only Par 3 Contest, shooting 5-under 22.
