JV had a couple of tough games this year, well by his high standards anyway.

I'm with Darkside on this, JV has been excellent this year so if last year he grades at an 96% and this year a 94% then sure, he isn't as good as last year.

I think he's better than last year by far. I think he's been exceptional. We have, in Palmer, not only one of the most accurate passers by far, but a guy who throws deep more often than any other QB in the NFL and that's not hyperbole, that's a fact. Protecting a statue like Palmer, a guy who likes to hold the ball and go deep, isn't easy. Veldheer has a much more difficult task than any of the LT's selected ahead of him.

JV is the leader and he anchors the line. I can't believe guys here are saying he doesn't deserve to go to the pro bowl.

Yes, this. Anchor of the best offense in football. Amazing.

(And the naysayers have nothing to support their idiocy other than to say he isn't as good as last year, without any supporting facts. Disgusting)

Comparing JV's work this year to last, is apples and oranges.

It's completely impossible to compare last year... Drew "Find the first read and chuck it" Stanton had more attempts than Palmer.

The majority of the other snaps went to Ryan "Deer in the headlights" Lindley.

End of discussion.

What facts are you bringing to support your cause? The fact that he wasn't voted in, nor did the coaches bring him on support the naysayers as you call us.

Your serve.

Already brought in some facts, like we're the # 4th ranked sacked offense in football, while Palmer is ranked #1 in yards per attempt, ranked #1 in total yards, and #1 in scoring in the NFL. I'm not sure what other measure there is, what more would you like?

Hardly ridiculous... You like the guy I get it.. So do I.. But he wa a better last year and apparently at least 2 posters agree with me ;)

Hey we've all seen the police brutality videos lately, I would agree too...:D:

I kid...I kid...
JV is not on the top 10 snubs list either, now that surprises me.

Sweet! Surprised CC made it, though.

I don't think this was one of CC's best years either, but this makes up for the years he was deserving and didn't make the team.

Pro Bowl only eligible to punters with 53 punts or more. So sad.

Is this True? If it is that is an awesome accomplishment for our offense. If not, very funny joke and I'm very gullible!

The Pro Bowl eligibility was a joke.

But Butler does only have 50 punts. (The team has 52 TD's). No other team in the league has more TD's than punts.

When was the last time a Cardinal O-line guy was in the pro bowl?

That we're discussing there should have been 2 is just phenomenal to me :)

Lomas Brown in 1996.

Mike Iupati and Darelle Revise were the only 2015 FA's selected to the Pro Bowl.

The Cardinals had a Pro Bowl guard...that's awesome! As far as JV, I think he's been exceptional in the run game, he and Iupati look stronger each week, and his sack numbers can be explained by Carson's dropback time/consistency. He's been great this year and I think it's a tough comparison to make to last year, the penalties are a big negative though.
