It happens to everyone in every fantasy sport you play, to amateurs, experts and everyone in between: You reach the late rounds, you're on the clock and suddenly, you have to search around for a few players to queue up, but you don’t see names you like.

So you start to panic and worry that you’re going to end up missing a deep sleeper that someone else will take.

Fear not. That’s what this list is here for. We did this last year, and I can say: Cristopher Sanchez was on there (just ignore the other picks, OK?)

So let’s run through some names to look at when the clock is ticking down late in your draft:

2B Connor Norby, Miami Marlins

The former Baltimore Orioles farmhand was in the Trevor Rogers trade. And in 36 games last year with Miami, he hit seven dingers. That's intriguing enough for a late-round flier.

OF Joc Pederson, Texas Rangers

Yes, the vet has become a platoon guy. But in a platoon last year, he hit 23 homers and had a .275 average. For a late pick who could shuttle in and out of your lineup, that's some very cheap power.

SP Clay Holmes, New York Mets

Reynaldo Lopez. Michael King. Seth Lugo. And now Holmes joins the list of relievers turned starters who could be successful!

SP Brandon Woodruff, Milwaukee Brewers

Are the shoulder issues behind him? Isn't it worth finding out with a former ace this late?

SP Nick Lodolo, Cincinnati Reds

We keep seeing flashes of really good stuff from him, but then he puts together bad starts. I'll roll the dice to see if he takes a step forward in 2025.

OF Christopher Morel, Tampa Bay Rays

We know the power is there. We also know he hit .196 last season (ew). But even getting back to somewhere near .250 with the dingers could be worth it.

SP Jackson Jobe, Detroit Tigers

He's on everybody's sleepers list, and rightfully so -- he's one of the best prospects in baseball, he's added pitches this offseason and he may win a rotation spot. Boom.
