Molden didn't get invited to the combine, that says a lot about what scouts think of him.

Jason Jones is a guy without a position. He's very raw. He played DT, has the body of an OLB and the skill set of a DE. He's going to be a project for some team. He could be a very good player 2-3 years down the road. This will keep him from being drafted very high. He didn't look very good at the combine, and was only average at the Senior Bowl.

It's hard to put a finger on how the guards will come off the board, always is.

Note on the Cardinals draft:

-I should get them a CB earlier

-Pat Sims would be a DE in a 3-4 with the versatility to play some NT. Sims is much better suited for a 3-4 than Calais Campbell IMO. I don't really consider Campbell a good fit for a 3-4 and most seem to feel that way.

You're right, especially because trades will screw up the order. That said, I do this every year and my order in which they come off the board is always very close. I feel confident that 75% of the prospects will be drafted +/- 6 spots. I also feel confident that I'll have atleast 25 day 1 picks correct (day 1 meaning the first 3 rounds even though day 1 is only 2 rounds now).

I agree totally with you..doing 7 rounds is very very tough...the guy did the whole draft! I wouldn't venture it even though I think I know a lot about college ball. You identified exactly what I caught in term os Jones.....he will never last that long. It is so much "easier" to be critic of someone elses work than put the fingers to the keys and try it yourself. As much as I disagree with rounds 2-7 a great effort!!

-Pat Sims would be a DE in a 3-4 with the versatility to play some NT. Sims is much better suited for a 3-4 than Calais Campbell IMO. I don't really consider Campbell a good fit for a 3-4 and most seem to feel that way.

If we ran a traditional 3-4 D then I might agree, but we run a hybird of sorts using the 3-4 D. Our front 3 besides our NT are asked to penetrate and get up field. They are asked to attack, all you have to do is look at the players and the style that they play that are currently at our DE spots right now, Dockett and Smith, both are attacking style DL. Sims isnt an attacking style of DL, to slow and combersome IMO. Campbell would be a great fit for this style of D at 290 lbs IMO. At 290 Campbell would do just fine in our attacking style of 3-4 defense.
