An offense built around Nash is not one that will prosper in the playoffs.

I disagree with this assumption. Two out of four years we were in the western conference finals. That is prospering in the playoffs. Had a couple of twists of fate turned out differently such as Joe Johnson not getting injured and the suspensions not happening against San Antonio, we might have a championship now. It's a shame that blame is placed squarely on Nash and D'antoni when it seems bad luck must be accounted for, at least somewhat.

I love Nash's effort on D and i also love his fiery competitive nature but the fact that he's an awful defender cannot be overlooked in the grand scheme of things. IMO it's time to give Barbosa the starting nod at SG and i don't think putting him alongside Nash is a good idea moving forward.

Actually, it's time to give Barbosa the starting PG position this season and bring Nash off bench to destroy the other teams scrubs, that avoids the joint court time of him and Paul, Parker, Billups as much as possible. With more energy, he'd be better for end game clutch plays and even defense. :mulli::D

Right. Telling what evidence tells you is called bashing. I was wellknown for the most consistent Marion basher here, too.:D

It used to be under DA. But in the last 16 games, the opposite is true. :(

I'm not saying that you are wrong, just repetitive.

I'm not in favor of this. In a backup PG role sure....but there aren't many 2 guards out there that can stay with Barbs. Put him next to an unselfish defensive PG and I like that starting backcourt. Rondo would be perfect:sad:.
I also like the chemistry between Shaq and Barbs, i don't think they see enough time together on the floor.

Hollinger? Talking solely about offense? Complimenting the Suns?

Someone have controversial pics of him or something?

Must be some doozies of him with sheep or something, because Hollinger has never had anything nice to say about this generation of Suns (post 2k) - especially in the Nash-era.

NBA team, NBA team, NBA team, and NBA team.

.

whoa, whoa, whoa . . . i'm not sure you can use that for the two clippers games. a bunch of stiffs and zach randolph played in the first one and nothing but stiffs played in the second one. i don't think "NBA team" really fit those two games.

whoa... Eric Gordon & Al Thornton are stiffs? Not even close. Jordan is not literally a stiff either - mainly he's young. Fred Jones is not the most graceful of players but he's fairly fast and quite strong with good hops. I'd welcome any of the first three on the Suns and Jones would be a useful bench player.

The Suns definitely should have went after Fred Jones this season when he was still a FA. I think this was a real blunder by the Suns FO.
