One would think the 76ers are 4-1 instead of 1-4 with the Suns defense.

The 76ers have quality depth, even more so when Embiid returns.

I don't get how some said losing Gordon was addition by subtraction. He's been really good for Philadelphia tonight. He helped keep the Suns afloat while Beal was out last season also.

anybody else see that?

book sets his feet on defense - paul george comes over and bumps him as he's setting the screen - it wasn't violent but book sold it - got the whistle - technically it is a foul

BUT THEN

then book runs down the court holding 3 fingers up signifying paul george's 3 fouls - this pisses paul george off who starts yelling at the ref - then beal starts making fun of paul george being butt hurt and book starts laughing his ass off as paul george goes back to the bench

IT WAS BEAUTIFUL

Suns playing Vogel-esque defense. Leaving corners open while playing a weird zone of sorts. Maybe Nurkic being back in helps solve that. Having a smaller guy in the paint required help defense also, which caused corners to collapse.

That guy was so hard to watch. Shooting 3ft behind 3pt line regularly was awful

Gordon regularly makes those shots, at least he has in the past.
He made 38% last year which is fine but just felt like dude step up and youll make 45%. Never heard of the idea of going further away from the hoop. Even steph curry does not prefer to be back there lol. It would drive me nuts as a teammate

Suns need to figure out a way to make teams pay when they extend their defense.

He's been successful taking those shots everywhere else he's been. It seems like you weren't familiar with who he was.

He shot 39% from 3 before the All-Star break with his role changing every other game. He never had time to adjust and settle into a role until towards the end of the year when he ran out of gas. He's a 35 year old that was in his 15th season.

Curry definitely does shoot from that far back a few times a game. You must not watch many Warriors games. Lots of guys shoot well beyond the 3pt line. It's about being open and creating space.
