My biggest concern was the lambs.
Once we beat them I was seriously wondering what 17-0 was gonna feel like...
I imagine it’s just a shade better than 16-1

The best record KK ever coached Texas Tech to was 8-5, in his 1st season 2013. He's now in uncharted territory as a HC and I'm along for the ride. His coaching growth has been exponential this year.

I thought we could go undefeated, damn close also, biggest hurdle was dedicating to a run game and balanced offense, opening up play action, rpo , resting the Defense. I thought the games would be closer. I don’t feel cards have really peaked yet, still ascending, what do you think? Is this as good as it gets?

my thinking on that was centered around being tempered by the NFCW schedule. If we can take them we can take anybody. And we can.

Wow! I completely forgot about that. I guess Carson Palmer's injury snuffed out any hopes of continuing to be a legit champion that year, although Stanton kept us in there until he went down.

I really loved that team. They had a lot of toughness, but not a ton of talent.

We were cursed. I remember we were actually still in it late into that game.
Should have just picked up anyone off the street or begged (Brenda) for Kurt to come out of retirement.
Was the worse QB performance ever for a QB in a playoff game.
