I've never seen this before. First we were a home dog against KC. Then, at 10-3 were a road dog against a lesser team simply because that team shut out 2 real crappy teams. Now, the Cards are an up to 9 1/2 point dog at home against Seattle. Don't know if I ever recall an 11-3 team being a home dog of that magnitude, 4th QB or not. This team still has a top 5 defense that held in check Seattle in the first game and with the exception of Denver and Atlanta, held every team in check and those are the only 2 teams to score over 20 points on us. I believe this game is going to be a dog fight. The one thing I herd in our last 2 losses that we were playing against 2 desperate teams. Well, I believe the Cards are a desperate team as losing twice to Seattle will all but guarantee our fall from the division lead and we end up a wild card so we're going to fight to the end here. I see this as a close, hard fought game that will be settled by less than 6 points.

Vegas odds are set to even out the bets.

That said if you feel that way drop a couple grand on the Cards :)

We are on our 3rd/4th string QB. Seattle are the SB champs and are playing lights out again. BA can easily use this to get the guys fired up as he did against the Rams.

Season records aren't as meaningful as how the teams are playing now. Seattle is playing as well as anyone in the league right now. We have a scrub at QB. Lindley will have a make some big plays for us to have a chance at this one.

The quotes from BA will be amazing if we where to beat the Seahawks lol

Nothing would be better than to have Lindley have the game of his career. Obviously that's not saying much, but to see him with 2 td's and over 225 yds passing with no TO's. Then we win this game by kneeing the ball at the end! It could happen

I've had a great year betting on the Cards and the under. A lot of betting models are baed on point differential, so the Cards continue to get extra points and cover. This spread will likely end up over 10 points by kick off, which means the moneyline could be as high as 4/1 odds. it's talking all I have to not hammer that moneyline.

You guys need to drop this "Everyone is against us" attitude

9.5 point dogs sounds very fair to me, without being a biased AZ fan.

Theres no question this is the steepest of uphill battles on paper.

Yep.

Home field & a #1 seed will get anyone fired up! But let's be honest, Ryan going up against that D scares the hell out of me no matter what's at stake & where it's being played. Can we score 13-17 pts it's probably gonna take to win this game with the backup to the backup of the the backup? I can't see us winning unless Lindley performs on par with what Stanton gave us which I think is a pipe dream.

So you're saying that if this game is in Seattle that we would be a legitimate 12-13 point underdog? That's nuts. This team has been competitive all season with 4 different QB's. Seattle's offense relies on the running game and our defense is more than capable of shutting their running game down. The last time we played them, the only reason why they were as successful was because of our punter and the lack of Fitz. Am I saying we're going to win? Honestly I don't know but will we keep it close. Absolutely. A lot closer than the oddsmakers are giving us credit for.

Every amateur better is taking seattle because we are starting lindley. Vegas is simply trying to stop the bleeding at this point.

That being said, the higher the spread goes, the more our guys are going to beat the absolute snot out of the Seahawks from a physical standpoint. I am ok with that.

I am guessing the line will get to 10 by game time. But it will be the Cards that win by 10

Good. I saw a tweet (Jurecki, maybe) that said something to the effect of "You think BA might casually mention this to the team."

Let's go, boys. Next man up.

If the line gets to 10-10.5 then I may have to drop a dollar or two on the Cardinals. Where did the line start? How much has it moved since Monday? These are the keys to betting on this game. If it started at 7 or 7.5 then a 2 point move is a lot which means a lot of money has been placed on the Hags.

I may be wrong but I was told by my friends who lose more money than I care to know on gambling that it started at 7.
