Ok. My MIL is selling a '92 Geo Metro. It is listed on craigslist for $1200 but she will take less. It needs a little love but is overall a good car. I think it would make a great first car for someones son/daughter. Obviously it is great on gas and from what I hear these things last forever. Here is a link for craigslist:
