it was one game - and pretty much one of gthe defining games in NBA history. However - teams HAVE been competitive losing their best player before - The KIngs lost Webber after going up 1-0 versus the Mavs and still took them to 7 games before losing on the road in Game 7 and that same year, A Nash-led, Nowitzki-less Mavs team gave SA all it could handle until Steve Kerr somehow went nuts inthe fourth Q of Game 6 with a 4-4 3 point shooting display that ended that series. Now, granted - both team LOST those series - but they also LOST THEIR ABSOLUTE BEST PLAYER - we didn't lose that - we still have a Game 7 on homecourt and we ain't playing the Spurs - we're playing the Mavs and we're the best team in the NBA... all is not lost - it's just a hell of a lot tougher than we thought it was gonna be.

Yup. I was hoping for a 4-1 Suns win over Mavs but now it's just taking a bit longer.
