Whats amazing is I sell Football cards as just one personal hobby of mine.I love to tear open cases of cards. So I see last week that Cutler had a card sell for 2,500.00+ just for a short printed autographed rookie.
The Bears fans are so hard up to finally have gotten thier dream quarterback to finally lead them that they are paying stupid prices for his cards when he has'nt done anything yet.The key word is are paying.I wonder if that trend will continue after Thursday night.Maybe some might think he is not the so called savior many thought was a sure thing.
Many Hall Of Famers cards don't get that much money.Yet the Chicago fans seem to have so much money and are some of the best fans in all of the NFL by FAR.They are ready to shell out big coin thinking they finally got THEIR guy. This two game losing streak has probably put a stop to the major spending for a while.Yet some guy is probably crying over his card he just finally got in the mail.
I just sold a Brees/Bush/Colston trio Autograph UD Exquisite 17/20 for 350.00 just to show you the comparison in what the winners of this year in a Trio short printed card of the top card in the BIZ,to what Cutlers card got.
I mainly sell Kurt Warner's most rare cards. If anyone is ever interested let me know.I have many of him with Boldin and Fitz triple jersey cards and I better shut up now or the mods will think I'm selling on the main forum which I'm not and I would rather give away cards to my fellow CARDINAL brothers then sell them anyway.
I have tons of old CARDINALS cards like Plummer auto's I'd gladly give away if anyone is in love with the guy.Tons of other CARDINALS that did'nt make it and they have autographed rookie cards. You'd be surprised how many we've drafted that did'nt make it.I also collect rare expensive gemstones for 30 years and graded coins too.
When your retired you gotta find somethings to keep you busy.
