Well deserved. See what happens when you play well and keep your mouth shut? While A-dub was crying for joy after the NFC CG #81 was bolting out the back door with Drew. Well played FO.

Wilson is the man.

Awesome news.

Wilson is the player that understands, better than any, what most fans have been through. He understands how special the Cardinals re-surgence is.

As soon as I can find a red Cardinals Jesery of #24 it is being purchased. He is the symbol of the modern day Cardinals.

Adrian Wilson is the kind of player on this team I would not mind if he did get overpayed, I'm estatic he was the one to sign first out of the big names and will be a Cardinal destine for our place of honor

I cant believe it took this long. Only 5 years, why not 6 or 7. We paid how much in gauranteed money for a 30+ year old. Why isnt Dansby done the same day, cant they multi-task.;)

...and I love how the article is really about the club's feelings towards Dansby and Boldin and the current situation using Wilson as a shining example on how these contracts should be done...with a little patience, waiting your turn after you have earned it

Go on Vacation for a 2nd time before July 15th. Maybe we can get Dansby signed two hours before that one to.

Hey Joe am I right in assuming that a Wilson extension would most likely raise his cap hit? Dont care if it does just wondering if thats correct?

Nope. I don't have any player jersey. I have sweatshirts, hats, shorts, polos, cups, etc., etc.

But no jersey. There never seems to by a guy that stays around long enough, to get one.

Not only that someone you would feel proud to wear around. Someone who symbolizes the team, and the club.

And finally it would have to be a player that I specifically enjoy to watch.

Wilson is the first to fit that bill and be worth the $$$ to buy a jersey.

Plus I owe him for bashing him before his explosion of productivity in his fourth year.

Does this mean they will be moving AW to linebacker now?

Doubt it raises his cap hit. He is already counting 6 mill this year so I doubt he makes more then that in the first year of his new deal. Doubt his new deal would be so front loaded that he counts more then his current 6 mill. I am guessing that this new deal actually lowers his current cap hit slightly.
